You’re looking at a 2004 Honda Valkyrie Rune. You read correctly – it’s a Honda! Honda produced a very limited run of these beastly bikes which is a derivative of the Valkyrie – but holds more styling & purpose. The styling speaks for itself with its ground-pounder rear fender coupled with the elegant, yet aggressive, trailing link front suspension. It's purpose is to haul butt - and look good doing it! A re-mapped ignition and improved fuel injection that resulted in 118 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque to be exact. The Rune started as a proof-of-concept project but turned into a brief ~3,000 bike fleet produced only between 2004 -2005. So they're super rare. This Rune is the 151st bike to leave the plant. This beast is a true head-turner wherever it goes and a pleasure to ride. If you want to stand out in the crowd - mission accomplished. You feel like you're in a parade when riding this bike with all the smiles you get. Rune number 151 comes with a custom chrome windscreen (not shown in photos), a rare Rune Leather/Steel Factory Book & CD's, all its purchase documentation, and standard Honda Ignition Security System. This Rune has clocked 11,264 miles. The bike has been garage kept and carefully maintained. Whether you plan to add this bike to your collection as an investment OR tear down the country roads -- either way it'll be with a big fat grin on your face! Let's not waste each others time - Serious Offers Only.* All photos & video were taken June 15, 2016 near the famous Route 66. “We wanted to extend this concept (a motorcycle based on the Valkyrie/Gold Wing power plant) once again and take another cutting-edge motorcycle into uncharted territory, establishing new directions that no other manufacturer had ever attempted. We wanted to set the bar higher than ever, erecting standards that no one else had yet imagined, while also exploding old limitations on what an original equipment manufacturer could mass produce.” - Ray Blank, Executive Vice President of Honda America
