1991 Honda CB 750 NIGHTHAWK

Bought this bike in August 2016 from a dealer that took it in on trade. I've put about 2300 miles on it since then and it is still ridden, so mileage may change. I've changed the oil and it's stayed indoors in a dry garage. The owner who traded it in had it professionally repainted after the original Nighthawk red faded and some work was done on tank damage from the owner before him. I have pictures of all that work. Paint is really nice, a silver flake orange. I've kept it clean of bugs after rides, so it's still in great condition. I do have a set of decals if you want to put the usual NH750 markings on it. Other than the paint, it has aftermarket turn signals, an aftermarket replacement seat, and some mods on the mufflers to make it (slightly) throatier. None of that was done by me. Tires are still in really great shape. Not sure on miles but the dealer I bought it from said they were nearly new. So it's that + the miles I've put on it. Dealer installed a brand new battery as part of the sale as well. Price includes bike, one key, an uncut Honda key blank, and a Clymer manual. When I bought the bike it only had the one key. REALLY enjoyable bike - getting married and can't do it anymore. Pictures were taken today - March 9th, 2017 - except for the last two which are there for color context. Nice condition Nighthawk 750. I've owned it since 1996. Well maintained. Has about 200 miles on oil change/filter. Tires are still very strong, runs awesome - nice and quick! Has 2up seat with sissy bar and bag. New clutch lever. I bought new LED turn signals (4 total) and handgrips, but never had the time to install. The turn signals on it work; just wanted something that was brighter. Just under 14,400 miles. Ridden a few times this year, so I know she rides good and strong. 1995 Honda Nighthawk 750. Both tires are like new, they have less than 500 miles. It runs great, showing 34,771 miles on the odometer. The plastic stems that hold the turn signals are cracked, but everything works. Comes with cloth cover. Nothing wrong with the bike, my father purchased this bike a couple years ago, but due to his health he has been unable to ride it.

I had several of these motorcycles at my aircraft hanger in San Diego, with just about every new spare part you can think of. I moved them here to my home on Lake Erie where I decided to fix them up. These bikes were very popular in Southern California. They were fast, shaft driven, four bangers with dual front disc brakes and anti-dive. The lifters are hydraulic and maintenance free. They are exceptionally well built having worked on them a lot in my spare time. This bike has the following new parts: 1. Completely rebuilt new carbs. Even the felt washers were replaced on the throttle shafts. 2. New air intake boots and intake engine manifold boots. 3. It has a brand new fuel tank, ignition switch, gas cap, and helmet lock set. 4. A brand new set of coils, NKG plugs and spark wires. 5. It has brand new fork tubes and bushings, rebuilt front fork seals, and rebuilt front brake calipers. The brake and clutch master cylinders were rebuilt. The slave cylinder was rebuilt and the clutch springs and disks are well within tolerance. 6. It has new horns (better design) and a new front light. 7. It has a near mint exhaust system and a nice spare one to go with the bike. 8. It has a new gel cell battery and starter solenoid. The control switches and cables were all cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled. 9. New rings were installed and the head given a valve job, while replacing the valve stem oil seals. The bike idles nicely at 500 rpm and the carbs have yet to be adjusted. The alternator was rebuilt and bench tested. It works perfectly. 10. It has new front and rear brake pads. The rear shocks are fine. 11. The starter has been rebuilt and a another rebuilt starter come with the bike. 12. The anti-dive has new seals and boots. The gearshift drum cover has new seals and the shifter has new boots. I have many spare parts and a complete engine with less than 200 miles on it for an additional $600.00, if you want it. Not even broken in. The engine is complete with oil filter and cooler assembly. You will not find one like this anywhere. The engine still has it's original factory markings on it. The timing and clutch covers have some scuffs on it, as you can see in the pictures, which are easily removed and buffed out. I have new exhaust valves, intake valves and valve stem guides with the removal, installation tool and a valve guide reamer. These are fast great bikes, fun to own, and fuel efficient.
