1996 Honda Xr 400R, Up for sale is 1996 Honda XR400R in good running condition. Originaly that was an enduro bike but was converted to dualsport for street use and I have a clean Illinois title in hand. Starts on 1st kick, rides nice and smooth. Upgrades: -UFO DOT approved headlight with integrated turn signals -UFO handlebar lights/ignition switch -Ricky Stators 200W stator -Tusk hydraulic brake light switches -Tusk horn -Tusk LED brake light/license plate holder kit (license plate is mounted on fender to prevent any damage from riding offroad -LED bulb in original brake/tail light -Tusk LED rear turn signals (holes in rear fender are from conventional turn signals homemade by previous owner, I have brand new fender. Also you'll need an 2-wire LED flasher relay if you plan to ride on streets, i never needed it because i mostly ride on dirt) -Acerbis rear view mirror (not shown on pics) -Moose racing shorty levers -Passenger footpegs -Pro Taper tapered handlebars -Sunline grips -Barkbusters VPS handguards -TrailTech Vapor speedo/tach/trip computer -Airbox mod with K&N air filter -Front forks revalved for better damping and rebound action -Stiffer springs in forks and shock (I'm 230lbs and it works great but damping/rebound action can be adjusted for lighter riders) -In-line fuel filter -Mikuni TM-40 pumper carburetor - the best bolt-on perfomance upgrade for XR400 money can buy - eliminates flat spot on low rpm's, increases low-end and mid-range torque dramatically and helps to start the bike with much less kicks. You will also get: -brand new UFO rear fender with brake light -original Honda headlight (not street legal) -extra tube -original trip odometer -old speedometer/odometer which was replaced by TrailTech Vapor -extra headlight bulb -used front sprocket -Acerbis mirror -original stator -original carburetor with a set of jets for various riding conditions. carb was cleaned and rebuilt recently Bike comes with a 1.5 year old Dunlop D755F front tire with 90% of thread and Pirelli MT16 rear with about 70% left. oil change was done last month. I use only synthetic oil and K&N oil filters so that should last you a while Suited for trail riding but can easily keep up with dirtbikes on MX tracks Asking $2000 o.b.o.
