Nice 1984 Honda CB700SC. I brought this bike back from the graveyard starting in 2009. After getting it running discovered that 2nd gear was weak. Bought a 1985 donor bike and swapped engines/transmission. Runs well. No issues. Turn key. Everything works as it should. The 1985 engine had 7,000 more miles than the 1984 so it's 31,100 on the engine. All stock with the exception of: K&N Air Filter, F2 Brake Rotors, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Bar End Mirrors, Rear Turn Signals, 150 Rear Tire The following has been done to the bike within the last 5 years: New petcock New lock set (gas cap, ignition switch, and seat lock) Forks rebuilt Brake master cylinder rebuilt Clutch master cylinder rebuilt Clutch slave rebuilt Brake calipers rebuilt Carbs rebuilt Starter rebuilt New tapered neck bearings Gas tank coated with Por-15 New Pirelli Sport Demons installed front and rear last fall, 600 miles ago.
