This bike is incredible!!! The paint finish is still like new. The bike still has the original yellow paint in many areas that the factory brushed on. I bought this bike from the original owners brother. This motorcycle runs and rides like it did from the factory, and in fact looks to have the original tires or similar replacement ones. The original 4 into 4 pipes(341s) still look new with no dings or rust holes(there is a little surface rust around each area where the rubber connectors are at the very rear of the mufflers, not soft or rusting thru or anything like that(see pics). The factory anteres red paint still shines like new on the tank and side covers. There are no dents in the tank and no cracks in the side covers, and all connecting tabs on side covers are intact. The only thing that is not working right is the right side turn signal(the running light works and the rear light comes on when you turn the right blinker switch but it will not blink)I have checked the wires as best I know how and can not find a problem! The left signal works fine and even the beeper is functional. I guess a bike that is over 39 years old has got to have some quirk of some kind. The seat is original and in excellent condition. The front fender has a ding in the middle. The gauges all work and are not very faded so i know this bike did not see much of the elements that ruined so many speedometers and tachometers. The chain guard has a chip in it where a little rust spot has formed. All in all I would give this bike a strong 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being near perfect. The bike has the super rare factory locking fuel cap with two keys. The prior owner moved the ignition switch up to the top because he kept burning his hand on the exhaust when he reached down without looking where the ignition was(he kept the original bracket for mounting under the tank and I have it) The prior owner also installed a lockhart oil cooler system back in the day(I left it on because it is a good option to have)I have the original box it came in with all instructions. The original tool pouch is still under the seat. I did update the battery to a gel type new replacement one. I had the carbs sonic cleaned, but all orignal parts are still intact. I am running non-oxy fuel in it and she runs great. The inside of the fuel tank is still original and clean(I did also replace the fuel petcock with a N.O.S Honda one) I kept the original in case it is wanted. Please e-mail me with any questions or concerns. I feel my buy it now for $6000 is very fair for a bike in this condition(and all original) i do have some connections for shipping and will help with loading the bike. I forgot to mention that I also have the original 1976 Minnesota license plate that came on the bike when new.

I am putting my 76 Honda Super Sport up for grabs. The bike came to me with a "Bass Boat/Dune Buggy" root beer brown metalflake paint job. The first thing I did was hand the bike over to my paint and bodyman. He striped off about an inch of paint(according to him) and got the tank and side covers down to the bone. He then primered everything and layed on an eye catching "Sulfur Yellow" paint that looks amazing, then he put on the new stripe kit and cleared over that. I then took the ripped up seat to Vinyl-Lux Upholstery shop in Mpls and had him put on a saddleskins reproduction seat cover. He did an fantastic job and even added a little extra foam in the process. I purchased a new N.O.S fuel petcock because the other one was hard to turn and leaked. The prior owner cleaned the carbs and the bike was running great when I bought it,so i did not do anything to the carbs. I cleaned up the "period correct" Kerker and she is in very nice condition from the header pipes to the tail pipe(sounds very nice but not annoyingly loud) The tank is real clean inside so i did not have to seal it or anything. I installed a new gel battery and all electrical works great. I have taken it out a few times but have not had it over 50MPH because the front tire has a flat spot and the front end rapidly goes up and down(so it needs a new front tire) I would replace the front tire but I thought the new owner might want to upgrade to radials front and rear. The front tire being bad also let me find out that the front right fork seal leaks a bit. I would also fix that but it would cost me alot to have done at a shop and I would have to sell bike for more to make up the difference(meanwhile the person buying this bike most likely has performed shock seal replacement and it would be their time and a little cash) I am trying to keep the price down so more people can aquire this beauty. I want to let potential buyers know what needs to be fixed and be as honest as I can about the bike. The bike is stock but has the little things that were popular back in the day like pod air filters and a 4 into 1 kerker. i have taken several pics of the bike for this auction and they were taken about 6 days ago. if you need a pic of a certain area, just e-mail me and I will try and get them to you. i do have some connections for shipping and will try and help any way i can. if you have any questions or concerns please e-mail me and I will get back to you promptly. Yes I do know that the side covers are supposed to be dark grey and the fuel lid is supposed to be black(I like the way I decided to go,but if a person wanted they could remove fuel lid and paint it black and also shoot the sidecovers grey with out to much hassle) I forgot to mention that the rear rim has some small amounts of peeling chrome that has surface rusted over time(a couple of 1/4 to 3/8 in spots)
