Vintage Motorcycle 1983 Honda Magna V45 750cc only 42k+ Miles, 3 owners all in the same family. Comes with manual and leather packs. Always stored inside garage. Regularly rode it until two years ago. Had it running several times since, and then a few weeks ago but battery is dead now and it needs some carburetor work. Newer hand grips, newer rear turn lights, head lamp and assembly replaced a few years ago. Seat was refurbished several years ago, very cushy comfy, and luggage rack on back. Clutch rebuilt a few years ago. Gas tank has had small dent nearly its entire life, and needs new reserve switch. Tires have about 2k miles on them. Great Honda engine, great ride, great starter bike.
Extremely fast 'Power Cruiser.' Honda did it right by entering the category previously occupied by the Kawasaki Eliminators and the Yamaha V-Max. They did this by lifting the engine from the VFR750 and slotting it in a cruiser chassis. The engine is beautiful. A lot of chrome, extra fins, and a 4 into 4 exhaust. The seat is very low, at 28 inches for excellent handling. The passenger seat can be detached. There are 41mm forks, dual shocks, and a single disc on the front. A drum brake is used on the rear. This rocket has a 5 speed transmission, smaller carbs, and chain driven cams. This provides a stronger mid-range pull, and a very broad band of power. The leather is a 10/10 and paint a 9/10. The bike has been garaged, never dropped, and well kept. I'm selling it with new tires, windshield fairing, foot plates, highway pegs, and saddle bags. I purchased a large touring bike 2 years ago. I don't use the bike as often as I thought I would. It needs someone to let her fly more often than just weekly. No mechanical flaws, ready to ride without addtl. costs, 18,345 mi. I've provided some of the specs below for reference:
Classic 1994 Honda Magna 750cc. Awesome power with only 11,000 miles. These bikes have become collectible because of the laid-back cruiser style but having the power of the V4 engine derived from the Honda Interceptor. Not perfect because of it's age, but no dents or wrecks and truly a stunning machine. Trouble with my balance keeps me from riding so it needs a new home. Affordable, unique and desireable. Have title in hand. Call or text Kim at 8l2-449-4oo3. $2,250
The story of Honda's 750 Magna. Each of the liquid-cooled, 748cc V-4 engine's cylinders breathes through its own 34mm carb and four valves operated by overhead cams. It revs to 9700 rpm, which is screaming for a cruiser-style motorcycle, though unspectacular by sportbike standards. (Some current sportbikes turn as much as 15,000 rpm.) Combine that sort of engine intensity with the Magna's modest 538-pound wet weight, and you get a 750 that's capable of outrunning not only big twins but even Honda's big six, the Valkyrie. The Magna's low-12-second quarter-mile times confirm this is a genuine musclebike.
Garage kept in pristine condition. Brand new tires and gel battery. Recent full maintenance. Runs great with no problems whatsoever. No low ballers. Moving onto a heavy touring for very long distance riding.
