This is a 1983 Nighthawk 550. Shaft Drive and oil cooling. Only 2 years they were made and everyone liked them. They quit making these and started making the Shadow model.

This auction is for a Honda VTR1000F Super Hawk. It is in excellent shape. The best way to describe it is it looks like a bike with 5,950 miles on it. It starts, runs and drives great. It's pretty much mint with only a couple minor, minor paint nicks on the very bottom edge of the tank that are hardly noticeable. Most of the body panels are flawless. This bike has never been down or raced or abused. All body panels are the originals that came with the bike when new. It is pretty much all original except for the rear sprocket was replaced with a Vortex, the license plate fender was trimmed, the brake light was replaced with a clear one, and the clip-ons were replaced with aftermarket ones. I have the original sprocket and brake light that I will include with the bike if desired. The Hindle exhaust mufflers are not included, the original mufflers that were debaffled will be installed. They sound as good as aftermarket exhaust. Frame sliders were also put on by the previous owner when new, but I took them off since I don't race around. The brackets are still there, and I will reinstall them. The bike has the original manual, tool kit and two ignition keys. These are hard to find in this shape and you won't be disappointed with the condition of this bike. I would not be selling the bike, but I have been laid off from work and need the money. Payment must be received within days. Shipping must be arranged and paid for by the buyer, but I will help any way I can.
