Here is an opportunity for someone to own a big, comfortable, touring motorcycle, with plenty of storage space, all for a very reasonable price. This motorcycle features a good running, liquid cooled, silky smooth, horizontally opposed 6 cylinder, 1520 cc engine. The rear seating is best in class, with wrap-around seat, passenger arm rests, and adjustable foot rests. The windshield and fairings give the rider full protection from the wind. This motorcycle has original commodore blue green metallic paint. The engine is rock solid and runs very well. Rated at 100 HP @ 5,200 RPM. The oil has been kept changed frequently and is hospital clean. The carburetors were recently cleaned, synchronized and adjusted. The brake pads are good, with about 70% of their life remaining. The bike features an “air suspension” system on the rear. The transmission is a 5 speed, featuring an Overdrive top gear, and a slow speed electric “reverse gear”. The motorcycle is shaft drive, which is very reliable, with no chain to maintain. The License Plate and Safety Inspection are good up through June, 2017. The Title and Registration are in my name. Storage compartments are comprised of the following: A 60 liter hard rear storage trunk - capable of holding two full-face helmets, plus other items; left and right hard saddlebags - 40 liters each; left and right rear storage pockets; and left and right front pockets. Total storage space is 147 liters. Foot rests are comfortably under the rider for great control, and also forward highway platforms for long trips. There are lockable helmet hangers under the rear center trunk. Fuel capacity is 6.1 gallons. The Goldwing sound system features include an AM/FM/Cassette radio; CB radio; and an Intercom, with dual antennas. There are front and rear pigtails for connecting to headsets for pilot and passenger. These motorcycles are known for longevity. This one has been well maintained mechanically. Camshaft timing belts were changed about 7,000 miles ago. Mileage is at 95,167. I have taken the bike on several trips to insure it is reliable. Fresh brake fluid and clutch reservoir fluid. The fork fluid has been recently changed. The motorcycle has never been wrecked. Some items are not like new. The rear tire is 2 years of age, with 60% remaining tread, and the front is 4 years of age with 40% tread remaining. The left front speaker needs to be replaced. The cruise control does not work. The body has a few rattles. The motorcycle has a rebuilt salvage title, and here is why: The fuel petcock had a small leak, which ignited and melted some plastic pieces. The insurance company was uncertain about what all might be wrong, so they paid the previous owner for the loss, rather than deal with repairs. They put it up for auction, and I bought the motorcycle as a project. There was very little repair needed. Parts were replaced and I have given attention to every detail to insure performance and reliabi
