1976 Honda Gold Wing Hover your mouse over a picture to see it enlarged!! 1976 Honda Gold Wing GL1000. Original bike. This was the second year for the Gold Wing. This bike is in rare condition for its' age and the bike does run and drive and brake fine. The bike has its' original D.I.D. rims, original paint, original chrome and fenders too. Replacement seat was added about 10 years ago for more comfort. I don't have the original seat. The exhaust is very good and is also original to the bike. I lost the left side cover so it has a replacement. It has the Windjammer SS Fairing. Both dual front disc brakes work fine. The bike has a very cool front fork brace unit that helps with stability at speed....very rad. The engine runs very fine with no issues. I am getting a little fuel leakage from the left back carb and I think it is a float or something so you will need to put attention to that. The right exhaust pipe had a small leak on the bottom and I had it repaired by a local dealer. The paint and decals are all original. The tires are ok but the front should be replaced soon in my opinion. There are no leaks that I am aware of at this time. The right hand control start button has fallen out so you need a new one. I just touch the one wire to the handlebars to engage the electric starter. If no one buys the bike, I will be buying a new left side cover and a control for the handlebar, and removing the fairing and going back to stock headlight, etc..... so here is a chance to buy a 1976 running Gold Wing for a very reasonable price!!!
