2005 Honda Goldwing GL1800 w/Champion Trike conversion. Before you get worried about the high mileage please remember that Honda 1800 engines are known to run over 300,000 miles without problems. I've had this trike since new, purchased in March of 2006 and triked out from day one. I've had zero problems mechanically speaking with the bike, but did have to replace wheel bearings on the trike axle at about 110,000 miles. This trike does NOT have independent suspension, but the original air suspension has been maintained and works fine. Great for adjusting to the ride most confortable for you. Valve clearance checks have been done every 40,000 miles as by the book. So far it has never been out of tolerance, thus no shims added. Next one, if done, will be at 190,000. I replaced the steering bearing at 125,000 because it got a little rough. Inherent on a trike due to the stress applied by flat steering. I have changed the oil with synthetic mix as my mechanic recommended every 5,000 miles even though the book says 8,000. Radiators drained and new coolant every year. The miles, though many, have been easy miles. I am not a hot-rodder nor high speed rider. Normal crusing speed for me is 70-75. The trike has newer brake pads under 5,000 miles on all wheels, brand new fork seals, Kurakyn Super Brace on the forks, a Saddleman seat and backrest w/air bladder lumbar adjustment and backrest. You can see the buttons for adjustment in the pictures of the seat. Plus many chrome acessories as you can see in the pictures. It also has a Honda 6-disc CD player installed and upgraded speakers front and rear. This trike is ready to take you anywhere you want to go for many thousands of miles. New tires on rear, front tire has plenty of rubber left on it too. REASON FOR SELLING? I am moving abroad next Spring and can't take it with me.
