100% Custom Build 1980 Honda CX500 Cafe Racer. The bike is a full frame - off 12 month restoration with no expenses spared. This bike can be easily used for everyday riding. It is light, nimble and unbelievably fun to ride. Breathtaking - this is the most common response you hear from people seeing this build in our showroom. This bike is perfect from top to bottom. Everything on this bike was taken apart, restored or replaced. It was professional build over a 12 month period. To give this bike its unique look the tank was hand - painted by an artist over a three month period. It now has the artists signature pattern and styling that adds a new element to the bike and will never again be re - created. This build is a blend between modern performance, and vintage styling. The frame was first shortened and butted, and had all of the unnecessary tabs and brackets removed before it was sent to powder coat in a layer of classic gloss black. The wheels were also powder coated, but in a semi-gloss to give multiple layers of black tones on the bike. The wheels were then wrapped in Firestone rubber, to give it the vintage look it needed to compliment all of the other modern components. Each bend in the exhaust is created by pie - cut 1.75¿ stainless steel, and TIG welded for a raw, elemental look.
