Honda’s CFR450R is the nuclear option in the motocross wars. Light, powerful, nimble, responsive, it offers the most performance and refinement of any bike in its class. For 2016, we’ve made some fine-tuning changes that make it a little better, but the big features that separate it from the pack remain. For example, there’s the CRF450R’s Engine Mode Select button that lets you choose between three settings (Standard, Smooth and Aggressive), just by pushing a handlebar-mounted button. Use that in conjunction with our available HRC Fuel Injection Setting Tool, and it’s easier than ever to adjust your engine’s output for specific track conditions.Next, the CRF450R's revolutionary KYB Air Fork features both high- and low-speed compression and rebound damping, letting you dial in the CRF450R's suspension in much quicker.Details like a fork that’s five millimeters longer this year and a new shock link help make the CRF450R even more stable. There’s even a new chain roller to help. All in all, you have everything you need to put you up front, from the second the start gate drops to when the checkered flag falls. * Suggested Retail Price (SRP) excludes destination charge. Winning Is Everything Everyone is going to remember 2013 as the year Honda took the 450 class and blew it WIDE open with the totally redesigned CRF®450R. Huge changes are going to jump out at you. First is the CRF450R’s all-new air-fork front suspension. Nearly two pounds lighter than a coil-spring fork, it offers easier adjustment, less internal friction, and even better handling. Next, an all-new twin-spar aluminum frame. You’ll see some big changes in the steering-head area. That’s because the frame is designed specifically to work with the new fork. Check out the CRF450R’s short radical new twin exhaust. The system moves the mufflers in way closer to the bike’s center of mass. They’re super short and compact, and work in perfect concert with the 2013 model’s new bodywork to make this the most flickable CRF450R ever! In fact, everywhere you look you’re going to see upgrades this year: The engine gets a new piston shape, porting, and valve timing, along with more compression for more power. The radiators are smaller and flow more air. The clutch is totally redesigned with six springs for better feel at the lever. Even the foot pegs and tires get the Honda touch. Without a doubt, the 2013 CRF450R is the most dialed-in bike and still the lightest weight in its class. Do your part, and you’re going to be a permanent fixture on the podium with this one.

2017 Honda CRF450R, 2017 Honda® CRF®450R The Ultimate Holeshot Machine. Open-class motocross might as well be called the unlimited class. There s no room for anything but the best here, and the best keep getting better and better every year. Well, have no fear, because the all-new 2017 Honda CRF450R is here. Major improvements everywhere, especially to the engine s increased power and peak torque, help drive you to the front of the pack. There s even an optional electric starter this year. And when you re in the lead in the first turn with an empty track in front of you, it s a whole new kind of race. Features may include: Downdraft Fuel Injection Part of an entire engine overhaul for 2017, the new downdraft intake tract and FI body help and increase both power and fuel-metering precision. It s part of the reason the CRF450R offers such explosive power and massive torque, especially out of the starting gate and in the critical first 100 feet of the race to the first turn. New Showa® Spring Fork An all-new 49mm Showa® fork features a conventional spring design that helps increase the CRF450R s front-suspension precision, handling and feel. Next-Generation Aluminum Frame New for 2017, our Next-Gen twin spar aluminum frame positions the new rear shock s mounting point lower, opening up the airbox area and contributing to a lower center of gravity for more holeshots. The frame geometry also helps improve traction, feeling and steering precision.

2013 Honda CRF450R, **CONSIGNMENT UNIT** Clean CRF450. SET UP FOR THE WOODS - Go faster, for longer. That?s what the amazing new Honda CRF450R allows you to do, thanks to its completely re-engineered chassis and improved engine performance. An all-new aluminum frame ensures a low centre of gravity and optimum mass centralization, and it?s mated to a new KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork) that delivers significant weight saving plus improved performance and versatility. At the back, a compact KYB shock that sits lower in the frame is connected to a brand new aluminum swingarm. The changes to the fuel-injected engine are equally exciting: a new cylinder head with larger exhaust valves, increased compression ratio, a heavier flywheel, a reshaped airbox, a new dual-muffler exhaust and other improvements add up to major gains in the low-end and midrange with no loss of top-end power.

2007 Honda CRF450R, Fresh Trade! - Cycle World's 2006 MX Bike of the Year. Five years in a row. The CRF450R has won pretty much every honor thrown its way—and it has no plans of letting up. Which is why we've made it even lighter, more responsive and better handling than ever, retooling the cylinder head and intake valves, boosting the carb to 41 mm, and adding a new brake lever linkage to improve stopping power, a new subframe and a Dunlop 742 FA front tire. Wicked, huh?
