2015 Honda CRF 450R, The first thing that was immediately noticed out on the track was added excitement from the motor. What every test rider reiterated on the first day was that the motor is stronger everywhere than the 2014 version. http://www.dirtrider.com/features/first-impression-2015-honda-crf450r 2015 Honda® CRF® 450R Your Trophy Awaits. There s big news for 2015: an all-new Engine Mode Select button lets you choose between three settings (Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive), just by pushing a handlebar-mounted button. It's an industry first for MX bikes, and it's going to make tuning your bike for changing track conditions a snap. With our available HRC® Fuel Injection Setting Tool, it s easily adjustable to specific track conditions and refines your settings in place of the smooth and aggressive settings on the engine mode selector. Next, the CRF® 450R's revolutionary KYB Air Fork features new high-speed/low-speed compression and rebound damping, letting you dial in the CRF® 450R's suspension in much quicker. The new exhaust port header design and compact dual exhaust further enhance mass centralization. And the new head design provides more top end power and over-rev. Plus, there s stronger transmission gears, a new piston, more flywheel mass, a new rear shock that's easier to adjust and a new 260mm front brake lets you haul down all that speed with more stopping power. The list just keeps going on. Engine Mode Select Button Huge news for 2015, and an industry first for MX bikes. Not to be confused with a launch mode selector, this handlebar-mounted button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive, depending on track conditions. New Cylinder Head And Piston The CRF® 450R s new cylinder head features a right-side exhaust port exit that helps the engine deliver more top-end power and over rev, plus better low-end torque feel. A new piston heat treatment adds durability, too. Revised KYB PSF Air Fork The CRF® 450R's 48mm inverted KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork) air fork is even better for 2015, with new high/low-speed compression and rebound damping. It weighs less than a conventional spring fork, and adjusting the spring rate is as easy pumping air.

The CRF250L gives you a great upright seating position that s comfortable for longer rides, perfect for seeing your way through an urban traffic snarl or getting out on the trail. It s a Honda One part of you probably likes the new CRF250L because you know it s going to be a blast to ride. But the other part knows it s also super-practical, thanks to Honda engineering. While some makers might scrimp on the technology when it comes to a 250cc machine, Honda s designers went all out. Power To The People! We equipped the CRF250L with a fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that features an electric starter, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Why? Because when you put it all together, you end up with a bike that delivers consistent rider-friendly power, plenty of mid-range torque and loads of confidence. 2016 Honda CRF 250R, 2016 Honda® CRF® 250R Podium Ready. It s the little things that make the difference between that sweet taste of champagne and finishing somewhere in the back of the pack. Because, face it, every racer wants to win, and most motocross bikes these days are pretty darn good. That s why you have to bring your best to every moto. And that s why Honda® is bringing some updates to what was already the best bike in the class, our CRF® 250R. This year's fine-tuning gives the CRF® 250R what it needs to keep you in front. New, larger radiators handle the output from a more powerful engine, which includes more cam lift and new titanium exhaust valves. Larger-diameter muffler pipes and a new resonator also help increase power. In terms of suspension, the Showa® Air Fork is five millimeters longer, and now features a Schrader valve to make adjusting the balance chamber easier. There s even a new chain-roller diameter our engineers haven t missed a thing. And it s all with one goal in mind: Giving you the best 250 MX bike there s ever been. Mission accomplished! Features May Include: 249cc Unicam Engine With its high-compression head, increased cam lift for 2016, new piston, new con rod, new valve springs and titanium exhaust valves, the CRF® 250R s engine produces more power this year. It s easily the most rideable engine in the class. PGM-FI Settings The settings on the CRF® 250R s Programmed Fuel Injection are dialed in to help deliver smooth, predictable engine performance. But you can try your hand at tuning, too, with our available HRC® Fuel Injection Setting Tool. It s easily adjustable to specific track conditions, and you can refine your own settings in place of the smooth and aggressive settings on the engine mode selector. Short Twin-Muffler Exhaust System Like our CRF® 450R, the CRF® 250R uses an exclusive twin-muffler setup. The mufflers are way shorter and lower, tucking in much closer to the bike s center of mass. That helps make the CRF® 250R a better handling machine, and also contributes to the bike s improved power. For 2016, the mufflers outlet pipes are bigger, too. Engine Mode Select Button A simple handlebar-mounted mode-select button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth and Aggressive, depending on track conditions. If you want to change up the settings, you can reprogram the Smooth and Aggressive modes with our optional HRC® Tuning Tool for a custom-tailored power delivery. Honda® Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) The HPSD is designed to work in conjunction with the front and rear suspension to give you unmatched steering precision under braking, acceleration, and in the whoops, ruts, and hardpack. There's nothing like it! Large Front Brake Rotor A full 260mm in diameter
