I have a vintage 1986 Honda CR500R for sale. The bike runs great and currently running it through some heat cycles to break in the new top end rebuild. Ive completed a frame off restoration while keeping some parts original. The frame and wheels are powder coated. Some original parts are the plastics, fork boots, carb and shocks. I have the stock radiators, extra Keihin carb and an extra LH radiator shroud ill include in the sale. Almost everything else on the bike is new or reconditioned. So, I went with an OEM 1994 Honda CR250 RH crankcase cover with water pump and clutch access for convenience. (It bolted up perfectly for those needing a replacement.) The top end has been professionally re-sleeved and a brand new piston w/rings installed. The bottom end has been rebuilt and refreshed with bearings, gaskets and seals. The carburetor has been rebuilt with all new internals also. I have put a lot of time and effort into this bike as well as a lot of money. My asking price is less than actually money invested, so my loss is your gain. If you're interested, please make a reasonable and respectable offer on the bike. Ive taken pictures from the beginning of the build. All the way from before tear down, to the frame being fresh out of powder coating all the way together so if you want additional photos, let me know.
