This is a 1967 Honda CL77 from the Hamilton Honda Motorcycle collection in Apache Junction, Arizona. This CL77 has been on display in our collection until recently when it was move out to make room for new acquisitions. This Honda 305 is an original rider in very good condition and drives well. It has had a recent service including new clutch, new battery, carburetors cleaned and reset, and new points and condenser. It has new Dunlop K70 tires as the original tires are no longer available. The tank, fenders and side covers were professionally painted by Dave Wedlake of Portland, Oregon a few years ago. The remainder of the bike is original. This bike was a trade-in at Bob Lamphere’s Beaverton Honda in Portland, Oregon many years ago. It was reconditioned by the Lamphere staff back then and when the original speedometer was found to be faulty, it was replaced with a NOS one from stock. That is why the odometer shows close to no miles on the bike. The actual miles are unknown. The bike was on display at the Beaverton dealership for many years before we obtained it. Please note that this CL77 has straight pipes and no silencer. There are some slight tears in the seat cover as shown in the pictures. Wheel rims have slight discolored areas common to this model after 50 years. The CL77 has a clear Washington State title. Listing is for a running project 1966 Honda CL77 Scrambler 305 and two parts bikes with tons of spares. Red bike does start and run but oil pump housing has a crack so it leaks oil over time. Clutch grabs a bit and needs adjustment or replacement. Parts bikes are not complete and the engines do not kick over. I don't know if they are seized internally or if the kickstarters are broken. Spares include a very nice tank and fenders, chain guard, new wiring harness, new air filters, a complete engine that has decent compression and may very well run, spare block and cylinder, crank, pipes, etc. Some of the old internal part spares like crankshaft, etc. may or may not be usable. Ran good when parked but has not been started since. You are bidding on a 1967 Honda 305 Scrambler with right at 15,000 miles. This is a beautiful bike, runs great, and has recently been completely tuned. The bike has been entirely re-chromed with the exception of the rims, and has been garage kept since. It was also professionally painted at a local body shop. When I bought the bike in 2007, I restored it, and replaced many parts with authentic vintage honda parts. The new parts include: clutch and springs, coils and condensor, tires and tubes, headlight seal beams, cables, rebuilt carbs, gas tank emblems, shocks, battery and more... I spent years on this restoration, making it just like the one I had as a child. Now I am forced to part with this very special bike, it is the last of my collection.
