I am selling my 2002 Honda CBR 954RR (aka Fireblade). This motorcycle has 12,250 miles on it right now. The reason I am selling is that I just don't have enough time to enjoy it. I am somewhat of the original owner. The reason I say this is that my friend bought this bike and put 190 miles on it and then sold it to me. It has been my baby since the day that I bought it. This was my second bike and was used mostly for long rides. It is in perfect condition, clean, runs excellent. Very fast This CBR is the best example you'll find and one of the lightest open class Superbikes ever made. There are no issues with it. I get a lot of compliments on the rare black and silver color. The following are modifications to the bike: Moriwaki Zero Titanium Exhaust, PowerCommander IIIr, steel braided brake lines, Corbin front and rear seats, Rear seat has a slick backrest for your passenger, also have the stock seats, a mount for a GPS or radar detector, and Michelin Pilot Power tires. The tires have at least 1000 miles left on them. I go a little overboard with the oil changes and do it mostly based on time since I don't put that many miles on it. I've been using Repsol synthetic for the oil changes. What Motorcyclist said in their Smart Money segment: "The CBR954RR was the last of the Tadao Baba designed CBRs, and it had the best attributes of that series--lightweight, agile handling, midrange-strong power--with upgrades to make it better than the porky '04 CBR1000RR that followed, in our opinion. Fuel injection, 17-inch front wheel, and revised steering geometry that came with the CBR929RR in '00 were bolstered with more power and a stronger chassis in the 954.
