Featuring the black/red/silver/white color scheme, this is what many consider to be the best-looking factory paint scheme for the Honda CBR600F3 whose model years ran from 1995-1998. Purchased new in May, 1998 (so it is actually one year newer than indicated). I have all records pertaining to this one-owner, all-stock, museum-quality motorcycle. Always stored indoors and never left to stand in the rain so it is completely rust-free. No scratches. Never left to "bake" out in the sun, so its paint is still lustrous and oxidation-free. Oil changes have been performed regardless of mileage (due to time passage) using Honda Pro GN4 SAE 10W-40 motorcycle oil. The oil and filter changes have been performed at the following mileages: 595, 1683, 3000 (approximately), 3860, 4553, 5118, 5193, 5311, 5471, 5503, and 5677. For a planned multi-year storage, this motorcyle was professionally prepared for long-term storage by Honda, Harley, Suzuki of Chillicothe, Ohio (e.g., a tablespoon of oil was placed in each of its cylinders to prevent rust from potentially forming along its cylinders' walls, the oil crankcase was purposely overfilled to protect the clutch, et cetera). Stored with double-stacked carpet samples under each tire to prevent flat spots. A new YUASA YTX9-BS (factory battery) was installed in June, 2015. It has typically been stored using Briggs & Stratton Fresh Start (a 24-month fuel stabilizer). Despite the long-life fuel stabilizer being run through the carburetors for winter storage, I recently noticed a slight hesitation in responsiveness on its "bottom end" below 3,000 rpm. After the do-it-yourself remedy of adding efficacious BG-44K carburetor/fuel injector cleaner proved unsuccessful, I had the carburetors professionally cleaned and adjusted by Ashland Cycle Center (Ashland, Kentucky) in April of 2016 for $258. It now runs as new. Comes with both original keys, a silver/black Honda motorcycle cover designed for this model ($100 value), the 1995-98 Honda Service Manual CBR600F3 ($60 value), and the 1995 Honda Sportbikes sales brochure, which introduced the first-year CBR600F3 (a small token, but typically a $30 value on eBay).
