2016 Honda CBR 1000RR, Coming soon 2016 Honda® CBR® 1000RR The Connoisseur s Superbike. All motorcycles are special. But there s something about a sportbike that distills the experience into something even more pure. So immediate. Such an intense connection between rider and bike. And the most intense of all is a Superbike, like the Honda CBR® 1000RR. The CBR® 1000RR is the purest of the pure, a bike with nothing to dilute the experience of the rider and the bike. The power is unlike anything else in our lineup the chassis and suspension are a tribute to Honda s decades of racing dominance. And there s plenty of technology, too, but it s the best kind: invisible, non-intrusive, there only when you need it. For 2016 we have a couple of versions for you. There s our CBR® 1000RR, available in Matte Metallic Black this year, with all the features you can ever want. And then there s our limited-edition CBR® 1000RR SP, the primo choice for track-day enthusiasts: Fully adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension, Brembo front brakes and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC premium tires, lightweight subframe with solo seat cowl, along with hand-selected engine parts for weight and balance, including pistons and connecting rods. For Superbike purists, the CBR® 1000RR is the best there s ever been, a bike like no other. Features May Include: Assisted Slipper Clutch Superbikes can deliver a great deal of back-torque through the driveline, upsetting handling not the CBR® 1000RR. Its Honda-designed assisted slipper clutch is the same type used on our MotoGP bikes. The design does away with the need for heavy clutch springs, ensuring full power transmission with smooth shifting and a light clutch pull at the lever. Twin-Spar Aluminum Chassis A four-piece aluminum frame design balances strength, rigidity and lightness. Wrapped tightly around the engine, the structure helps centralize the CBR® 1000RR s mass for more responsive handling some of the best anywhere on two wheels. Centrally Located Fuel Tank The CBR® 1000RR s 4.7-gallon fuel tank is positioned in the center of the chassis and low in the frame. This allows for a more compact design but more importantly, it helps centralize the bike s mass. Increased mass centralization means the CBR® is more responsive to rider input, especially when leaning the bike into a turn or standing it up at the exit. Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) Most steering dampers only sense handlebar-deflection speed. The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) is way more sophisticated. It also detects vehicle speed, and adjusts damping proportionally. That helps maintain low-speed maneuverability while providing excellent, predictable high-speed handling. 2016 Honda CBR 300R, Coming soon 2015 Honda® CBR® 300R Mighty Mite. Honda s CBR® 300R delivers a giant dose of performance and fun way out of proportion to its engine size. Even experienced riders can t seem to wipe the smile off their face after a ride on this modestly-sized machine. And one ride will tell you why. It s the sporting member of our 300 lineup, with a little more bodywork. The single-cylinder engine is light and narrow, making it easier to sit on the bike and get your feet on the ground at stops. And the single-cylinder powerband with its wide torque spread is perfect for both in-town or freeway rides. The light weight makes it responsive on twisty roads. But maybe best of all, the CBR® 300R offers excellent fuel efficiency, too. This year the CBR® 300R is available in two hot new color schemes: Bright Yellow and Matte Black, as well as Candy Orange and Matte Black. And the price is still lower than what you d pay for a lot of used bikes. Features May Include: Single-Cylinder Engine A single is the perfect choice for a bike like the CBR® 300R. It's light, simple, fuel efficient and features a broad powerband with plenty of low-revving torque just what you want in your first motorcycle, but geared for comfortable cruising at highway speeds. Counterbalance Shaft Because it features a counterbalancer, the CBR® 300R engine is a smooth runner. You get the narrow overall width and power advantages of a single along with the smoothness of a multi-cylinder bike. Fuel Injection Fuel injection means the CBR® 300R starts right up, even in cold weather. Compared to a carbureted bike, it also helps reduce emissions and enhance performance and fuel efficiency. Disc Brakes The CBR® 300R features a 296mm front and 220mm rear hydraulic disc for excellent stopping power and brake feel. Pro-Link® Rear Suspension The CBR300R uses a single-shock preload-adjustable rear suspension that not only gives you a smooth ride but helps enhance handling as well, like some of our larger sport models. Narrow Seat & Low Seat Height A low 30.7-inch seat height does more than help make sure the CBR® 300R fits a wide range of riders. It makes it easier to put your feet down at stoplights and in parking lots a big confidence builder. Plus, we offer a Honda Genuine Accessory seat that lowers seat height even further!
