For sale is a black 1997 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird with 66K miles and clean title in hand for $2,500 OBO. I am selling because I have no time to ride and am looking to purchase a car. This is NOT a bike for novice riders, I will not sell to any beginners. The bike is classified as a sport-tourer, but man does this thing rip. Was the fastest production bike at time of manufacture, and only a couple tenths of a second behind current holder. The miles are higher for a bike but as anyone who owns one of these will testify to, they will last well beyond 100k with no issues. Below is the maintenance I have had done this season at Great Boston Motorsports:-new chain-new Michelin front tire (matching rear tire has plenty of tread left)Serious buyers only. I bought this bike 2 months ago from a dealer. I have recently found out that I am becoming a dad so have decided to sell it and do the rite thing. Since I bought it I replaced the plastics with Honda repsol plastic. I installed a under seat license plate bracket with led light. I also installed led rear turn signal lights. The bike passed inspection in June. Everything on the bike works perfectly. The engine is solid. New Honda oil in it as well. Tires have a lot of life left. I am also selling a vans on race jacket ($900), and suomy helmet ($500). Helmet has been worn maybe 10 times, the liner is removable and washable. The jacket is in excellent condition as well. I will sell the bike alone or everything together for some more $ to be negotiated. Thank you and feel free to message me with any questions.
