This bike was found leaning against an oak tree where it had been sitting in the elements for well over 40 years. The restoration process revealed what appears to be an extremely low mileage machine (there was a little over 4k showing on the speedometer.) The old CB runs great and has had tons of new parts installed to include, tires, points & plugs, fork seals, throttle and clutch cables, rear brakes, front master cylinder, turn signals, gauges, chain, battery and numerous other parts. This does not include the hours spent on rust removal and detailing. There is still pitting in the chrome in areas and the paint does show its age in places. In other words this "Old Girl" is certainly not show quality, but a decent daily rider that will draw attention at any bike night you attend. Everything works to include the electric starter and all the lighting. The compression is terrific and it does not smoke at all. There is a clear title in my name and I really was planning on keeping the bike in my collection, but unfortunately there is just not enough garage space or free time to make this feasible. The bike is located in Fredericksburg Virginia and would prefer direct pick up and a cash deal.
