For Sale is my 1983 CB1000C motorcycle. They only made these for a single year so they're rare, and this one's in spectacular condition. Some items have been refurbished and restored, but the motorcycle is all original, even the exhaust pipes! No rust, rot, or damaged body panels, and all chrome is in great shape. A good solid bike that is comfortable and fast, that you can ride all day. Braking system was cleaned and rebuilt, new mustang seat cover, new rubber turn signal stalks where needed. I just finished cleaning and synchronizing the carburetors to get it in tip top shape for spring. It's a get on and ride bike, ready for a new owner who will use it more than I am able. The bike is used and sold as is with no warranty.Shipping is not included or offered and is the responsibility of the buyer, but I will be available to assist in loading the motorcycle if necessary. There is NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 via Paypal required. Thank you for looking, and feel free to ask any questions through ebay.

This is a 1980 Honda CB900C. It comes as pictured with the Hondaline fairing and the locking trunk. The fairing lowers are also included, but not pictured. I acquired this bike three years ago and it has been my daily rider since then. I've put nearly 8000 miles on it with no issues. The CB900C has the 10 speed Hi/Low transmission, which makes it perfect for highway use. This bike is in great condition. The fairing windshield is clear with only minor scratches. The brake lines were replaced with brand new stainless steel braided lines from Galfers. The back tire is like new and the front tire still has a lot of life left in it. The seat is free of rips or tears. The sub-transmission and final drive oils were changed 200 miles ago. The engine oil was changed at that same time, and has been changed every 1200 to 1500 miles.

Starts every time and shifts through all the gears. has shorter handlebars than stock. New turn signals. All the lights work except for the tachometer back light and there is no license plate light. The cross member between the fender struts was replaced with flat bar stock to fit the seat (see picture) Has new grips and cables as well as mirrors. I also have the original fender handlebars and tail light and a new Clymer shop manual. None of the cables have been shortened so switching handle bars is no problem. I've been riding it everyday, but need a truck. Could be tagged and driven away.

Custom built cafe racer that started life as an 82 CB750C with 15K miles. The wheels and forks are from a 92 GSXR 750, as are the brakes and foot controls. The tank is from a 77 CB750 Super Sport and the seat/tail is made from a Sportster tank. The bike runs awesome and drives smooth and straight. No vibrations or wobbles up to about 120 mph. I say that speed because that is as fast as I have gone. It could do more. I love this bike and have ridden it daily the past two years with no issues what so ever. I am selling it because I have a bad back and neck and it hurts me when I ride it more than a few minutes any more. I hate to sell it but its just time. I just put on a brand new set of Dunlop SportMax tires that have maybe 50 miles on them. I work on bikes professionally and have done all the work on this bike myself except for the valve job. For a 750 this bike is pretty fast and will easily keep up with 1000cc and bigger bikes of its era. It more importantly stops very well with the more modern brakes and suspension parts. Going fast is no fun if you can not control it. Specs: -wheels and forks are from a 92 GSX-R 750 (fork seals and wheel bearings replaced) -brakes are Arashi wave cut slotted rotors with EBC ceramic pads (also from 92 GSX-R) -tires are Dunlop Sport Max Road Smart 120 front and 180 rear -fuel tank is a modified 77 CB750 Super Sport tank that took hours and hours of work to make it what it is -seat/tail fabricated from a Sportster tank with a running light from a 1940's truck to make tail light. -motor is all stock on bottom end but head has been ported and polished with CB900 cams, KPMI high lift valve springs, valve job with stock valves -carbs are Keihin CR31 Specials with DP filters and have been tuned very nicely. (Tuning these carbs is not easy or cheap) -Ignition system is a complete Dyna 2000 with shift minder and shift light -charging system was completely replaced with parts from Rick's Motorsports paired to a Ballistic lightweight lithium battery -exhaust is a 4>2>1 race system with muffler from CycleX -custom built wiring harness using all weatherpack connectors. (very bare bones) -front sprocket is a custom made 17T with 8mm offset for tire clearance (dropping the front sprocket by one tooth really makes this thing quick out of the hole) -rear sprocket is a 34T Vortex -Vortex clip on bars I know I am forgetting something and I will add more info as I think of it. I have thousands invested in this bike and know I will not come close to what I have in it selling it. This has been a great bike and I will surely miss it, but it is time for it to go. It really turns heads and has been a conversation piece, but most of all has been really fun to build and ride. If it weren't for my spinal injuries I would keep it and ride it. I just hope it goes to a good home and gets ridden.

This bike is nearly in stock condition. What looks like discoloration in some of the photos is dust and pollen, not corrosion. I didn't clean it prior to taking the pictures. Very little rust and engine starts and runs like it did 30 years ago. The stereo cassette player even works, although I haven't tried putting a cassette into it. As far as I know the only parts on this bike that are not original are the right side glove box and the trunk, as the keys are different than the ignition and saddlebags. Original shocks that still hold air. The saddlebags and trunk still have the elastic bands and they still stretch! Rare 10 speed transmission has a high/low heel shifter to switch between two ranges. Everywhere I go bikers ask how I kept it in such great condition for 30 years. Truth is I only bought this bike in 2012 and have put less than 4,000 miles on it since. The guy I bought it from claims a friend in Pennsylvania had it in his garage for years and finally sold it to him. He sold it to me because his wife didn't like riding anymore. Reason I'm selling is that I have moved up to a newer and larger cruiser and I need the space in the garage. This was my gas friendly commute to work bike when the weather permitted; 40 mpg average. Tons of storage space, holds a full size helmet or fabric briefcase with laptop in saddlebags. Always garaged, would make a great restoration project for a collector. No test rides without cash in my hand. You scratch it you bought it. Comes with TWO SEATS, the stock seat that has been recovered with a sun friendly tan cover, and the king/queen seat in the photos. If your trouser inseam is greater than 32", your knees may hit the faring in the king/queen seat which is why I got the stock seat instead; I am 6'2". The bottle holder is attached to a piece of plywood that I cut to fit the opening, the original plastic is in the trunk. As I said, this is nearly in stock condition. Available for viewing in Dallas, Georgia. Contact through Ebay to make an appointment. I reserve the right to withdraw this listing if the bike sells through local advertisements.

This bike recently emerged from my shop after two years of effort. I am guessing I have something like 200 hours of work into this bike. I also have over $5,000 invested in the bike, parts, paint, carb rebuild and powder coating. No, needless to say this project bike isn't going to make me rich but it did provide me with the opportunity to do something I really enjoy. This bike is a Cafe Racer conversion of a 1981 Honda CB750c. The donor bike had 18,900 miles on it before the project began. It has just over 300 miles put on it since the conversion. The conversion was a full frame off project. Many parts were powder coated along the way...including the frame. I purchased many new parts and custom fabricated others. It runs great and looks even better. Needless to say it came out awesome and gets rave reviews wherever it goes.Note: this was not a down and dirty garage project. It was completed by an motorcycle craftsman in a full blown shop. The paint was applied by a professional paint shop. It is a first class build all the way. The key to making a 30+ year old bike run properly is to have the carbs in tip top condition. If the carbs are dirty and components are worn out there is no way to get a bike to run properly. With that in mind I had Mike Nixon rebuild the carbs at a cost of $500. You can check him and his work out on the web by searching for Mike Nixon Motorcycle Project. He is a guru when it comes to rebuilding CB750c carbs. Note: the odometer currently shows just over 300 miles on it. As part of the build I replaced the old speedometer with a brand new one which is why the total mileage doesn't show on the current odometer. Please contact me with any questions you might have. I have a website that further details this build. I will be happy to send the link if you ask me for it. I have a very nice running 1981 Honda CB900C Custom for sale, with 18,000 original miles. It was restored by me. The previous owner rarely rode the bike. When I received it, it was a basket case. I went through the entire bike with a fine toothed comb. 2000 Miles on rebuilt engine, Cylinder head valve job and shim adjusted. Carbs cleaned, but still need to be synced. New clutch discs with heavy duty springs on the pressure plate. Rebuilt rear brake caliper and rear brake master cylinder. New front brake master cylinder. All new brake pads, front and rear. New front fork seals and oil. All the fluids have been drained and flushed, topped with high quality hypoid gear oil.Synthetic, 20/50 motorcycle engine oil. All in all, a very nice running and good looking old school motorcycle. Certainly a head turner.
