This is a 1976 Honda CB550K from the Hamilton Honda Motorcycle collection in Apache Junction, Arizona. This CB550 is an original rider in very good condition and drives well. It has 18707 miles on the odometer, has a new battery and has been recently serviced. It has its original paint on the tank, although there are several scratches on the top as shown in the pictures. The left side cover has a crack but since it looks to be an original, we did not want to replace it or repaint it. The original yellow paint still shows on the factory inspection locations. The bike has its original 4 into 4 exhausts with no rust or holes. Engine number is CB55E-1067526. Frame number is CB550-1230323. This CB550K has a clear Washington State title Please note .... I very recently bought this from a friend in town as I LOVE the period correct modifications with the bags and the matching windscreen. This 76 Honda CB550 K2 is a very nice survivor condition classic. Problem I am having is I really have no place to store this as I have a collection of classic 2-strokes already......I hate to let it go, but space is a premium in my 3 car garage... This Honda does start and run, but will need the carbs checked, possibly tires and some small tuning as it has been sitting for some time. Second owner. Only 8300 ORIGINAL MILES. Very "mild cafe". Parts to turn the bike back to factory are included. I bought this bike a couple years ago from a 70+ year old man who bought it brand new in late 1978/early 1979. This is the SOHC Single Over Head Cam. Last year of it I believe. The original owner rode the bike about 300 miles a year, then cleaned it, waxed it, and put it back away at the end of each season. New tires. Newer battery. ORIGINAL SEAT COVER! Those are worth $500 by themselves. This bike even has the factory yellow paint on the bolts from when it was built! I am including everything in the pictures. The only thing that isn't completely original is the exhaust. The original owner changed to this exhaust in the late 70's. I was able to track down 2 or the original 4 exhaust pipes from a local dealer that had some "take offs" from 1978. If you can find the other 2, this bike would be nearly a museum piece. I've never seen a 550K in this good of condition before. I get attention everywhere I go with this bike. A real head turner! Starts and runs fantastic. 1978 CB550 has been fixed up and is ready for the road!!!!These pictures don't do this bike justice!!!! The color of this bike is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Deep metallic blue glimmers in the sun!!!!Impress your friends and enjoy this vintage bike. Ride it on the weekends or back and forth to work every day!!!!This classic Honda is ready to enjoy!!! Lined gas tank, new petcock, rebuilt carbs, new air filter in the factory air box, new ignition points, rebuilt front brakes, tires are near new and in excellent condition, super nice seat, new low bars, new cables, new grips, brand new paint job (very pretty!!!), 4 into 1 custom exhaust with brand new muffler.It has an early style taillight installed. They are more attractive, smaller/less bulky taillight found on early CB750's and CB550's.The bike has a dent on the back of the front fender. There are holes for the factory emblems if you want to put them on the side panels, but none are included. Missing the sticker for the indicator lights.Engine has some flaked off paint here and there.Does NOT have turn signals. Needs a new horn. I am selling my 1978 Honda CB550. This classic motorcycle was restored just over two years ago to something close to it's original condition. Exhaust pipes are aftermarket - and were replaced before I purchased it. I bought the bike three years ago, and it was in storage for some time before that. It has been maintained well over the last few years. It now has 24,260 miles on it. The bike is beautiful as is, as a complete restoration project, or for a cafe racer modification. Bike runs great still. I just replaced all of the engine gaskets and most of the O-rings. Cylinders and pistons are in great shape. Engine timing is set. Valves are adjusted. Battery is brand new. Bike comes with well-used maintenance manual. I'm asking $2,200 OBO, willing to negotiate. No deliveries. Seriously inquiries only. Thanks!!

1974 CB 550k 100% complete and ready for the road with new Dyna electronic ignition and coils, new chrome MAC 4 to 1 exhaust, front progressive springs with new "Joker Machine" adjusters, new front brake pads, new charging system components (rectifier/regulator/battery), completely tuned drive-train with a fresh oil change, new oil and air filters, new plugs and resistor caps, new headlamp. New Pirelli tires. New seat cover. NOS chrome front fender and mirrors. Original faded candy orange paint, original chrome luggage rack. All electrics function as they should. Overall great condition for a 41 year old classic. A great running and looking bike! I am the third owner of this CB550, the second owner inherited it from the first and stored the bike in the back of a custom wheel shop for 10 years. Unfortunately the original 4 to 1 exhaust rotted through and was unusable. The tank has not been lined and is in satisfactory condition, The carbs were rebuilt with original parts and synchronized after installation. She runs like a top and gets lots of looks on the road. All factory parts are in tact with the exception of the original pipes, fork plugs and ignition, all stock parts are going with the bike including original head pipes. A true survivor!!

1978 HONDA CB550K IN GREAT CONDITION READY FOR RESTORATION. Bike does not run! Engine turns fine, gas tank appears to be in very nice shape as well as the chrome. I never attempted to start this bike. This is a very nice complete example ready to be restored. Bike came in from California. The headlamp trim ring has rash, carbs will most probably need to be rebuilt, the front fender is dented on the rear bottom portion, right rear turn signal broke off on the weld and the seat has a tear on the seam on the right side. Atlanta Motor Cycle Works has this immaculate 1977 Honda CB 550 K on consignment This bike is 100 % original and the pictures do not do it justice it has also had a complete top end rebuild and the clocks have been turned back witch shows only 81 miles on it , so the true miles are not known . The bike runs great and would make a nice piece to some ones collection or for some one looking to have a reliable classic to ride on the week ends or to take to shows.
