2004 Harley-Davidson V-Rod , I am selling my 2004 Harley Davidson VROD (VRSCB). It has 14,121 miles on it as of 6/15/2015. This bike has many upgrades and features which make it stand out not only from a showroom floor model but also from nearly any other VROD on the street. A brief history of the bike. . . I am the third owner. The first owner was a guy in PA in his mid 20's who bought the bike from the dealer and sold it after he let the bike spend more time in the garage than on the road. The second owner lived in Ashburn, VA and garage kept the bike every night, singing lullaby's to it judging by his apprehension so sell it. However, he did eventually sell it to me because he wanted to ride a different Harley. I bought this bike at the end of July '13 and have thoroughly enjoyed riding it! I am selling it for two reasons. One - is because I am involved in competitive mountain bike racing and they are expensive too. This is my 5th ride and I have diagnosed myself with motorcycle-A.D.D. I see a shiny new bike and I want to sell my current bike to get it. However, the one I want now isn't powered by gas. Two - Is because 'life' is yelling at me to 'pay' more attention to it and is demanding more money from me (bills...etc) and the Harley just isn't at the top of my priority list at this stage of life. I don't want to sell it but being an adult won't stop biting at my heels. This is where you come in... Tires have tons of tread, brakes are solid, all equipment works, oil, fluids and inspection are up to date. I'm currently running an aftermarket seat with the factory rider pillion attached, I like the slicked back look it gives the bike. I have pictures of both setups on here. I have ALWAYS put premium gas in the bike. I still have the factory seat setup if you are interested in it. Now on to the key features of the bike. . . - Bub Industries Jug Hugger 2-into-2 Exhaust -- $565 - Dynojet PowerCommander 5 -- $380 - K&N Air Filter setup (with the configuration for running topless) -- $62 - VROD 5 spoke Wheels in place of the ugly '04 solid stainless wheels. -- $446 and $507 - Aftermarket Harley Davidson VROD Sundowner seat and rider pillion - $329 - LED tail light - $48 Total upgrades: $2,337. NADA lists the average price (before the upgrades) of this bike at $7,305. KBB lists the average price (before the upgrades) of this bike at $6,750. I am listing the price at $7000. I believe this price accurately reflects the value with its condition along with the upgrades it has. Please feel free to email me if you have questions or would like to see more pictures. $7,000.00
