So here's the story. I took this bike in on trade from a customer who's father had passed away and he couldn't bring himself to part with it until recently. He had it stored in his barn where it was partially exposed to the elements, mainly sunlight, hence the fading which I noted in the pictures. Besides a little faded paint, some of the chrome is bubbling and a peeling which I also noted in the pictures along with the dent in the right side of the tank. NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF! The only issues with the bike are completely cosmetic. I've had my shop go through the bike completely which means it's been completely checked from top to bottom with all the fluids changed. We've bled the brakes, checked the electronics and they all work great. The bike runs extremely well and very strong. The engine doesn't smoke, spit or sputter when running. I took the bike for a ride and it'll run 80 on the interstate all day. In closing the bike isn't perfect cosmetically and could use some TLC but the bike is also 17yrs old so instead just think of the blemishes as character or nostalgia. Another plus is this is the last year of the EVO motor, which many HD faithful consider the best motor Harley ever produced. Great bike for the biker on a budget or a true HD enthusiast who knows what this bike is and can give it the TLC it deserves. Also if someone utilizes the BUY IT NOW option I'll throw in the fiberglass bags for free (they need TLC as well.) NO HIDDEN FEES! The Buy It Now and/or best offer is the total you pay! The bike runs very strong, shifts well and is ready to ride. The bike is 8yrs old so it's got some wear on it. I took pics of the couple of things that I would want to know about if I buying. There's a dent on the left side top of the tank which honestly isn't very noticeable. Of course the saddle bag lids have scuffs from feet being thrown over. There are a few light scratches on the front fender with a rock peck on the right side. The lower outer corner of the right saddle bag has chipped paint but no fiberglass damage I can tell. Please look at all the pics closely and ask me if you have any concerns. Like I said it's not perfect nor is it priced like a perfect bike. It's a very good bike priced at a very good price.
