Up for auction is this 1980 Harley Davidson Sportster. It has a clear Ilinois Title that I have in hand. This bike has a damaged right casing from the tranmission gear breaking and busting through the casing. I have mostly all of the parts, some are damaged and missing. You will be buying this bike as is where is no warranties or guarantee of any kind. I will be happy to send more pics, and give you any other info you need to know what you are buying if I have not supplied all the info you need. This bike was in running condition when the 18 year old hot rodder blew the tranny out. I have some of the casing fragments and it may be able to be welded up. Once you put the tranny parts put back together it should be running, but no guarantee. The motor is free but I have never had it running. I purchased this from the young man and was going to part it out but will offer it as a whole before doing so. The bike does not have a speedo so I am putting the miles at 99,999. You will have to pick this up in Springfield, Illinois or YOU can arrange shipping and I will do what I can to make it ready for shipping at a reasonable cost to load on your shippers truck. I will store for 30 days after auction end or charge $25.00 a month beyond that until it is picked up. I will mail title to you if you wish after I receive payment in full.
