2015 XL1200X Forty Eight. The bike has been crashed which resulted in some small fire damage in addition to the collision damage. We haven't started the bike. Frame appears to be straight but there is a small dent in the right front at the top of the frame rail as seen in pic. Some of the plugs and small sections of wiring are melted, however, the bulk of the harness is still in nice condition. Only what is shown in the pics is included and the bike will come with the paperwork to register it as California Salvage title, please check with your local laws. We try to describe our parts as accurately as we are able but we can't describe every flaw of every part, please look at the photos and ask any questions about the condition of the part before buying. These are used parts from used bikes. You get what you see. Again, please ask any questions. Up for auction is a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. The bike runs and drives. We took photos of the bike and its damage. The bike went down on the right side. There is damage to the brake foot peg area, handlebars, gas tank and windscreen. The exhaust got some scrapes also. The front fender is dented on the left side and the front wheel is slightly bent. We assume the guy ran something over, the item got stuck in the front spokes and thats what caused the accident. Please see the pictures. We do our best to describe any damage so If you have any questions please feel free to ask and inspections are welcome. This motorcycle is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty. We have done our best to describe the motorcycle so if you have any questions at all, please contact us first before bidding or buying. We do not offer a guarantee that the frame or chassis is straight. We do not guarantee that the battery will be charged, most of the motorcycles we handle have dead or dying batteries and require a battery to start. We are open during general business hours and this bike can be inspected at any time but please call to make arrangements so we can move it out for inspection. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We can arrange to have the motorcycle crated and delivered to port for export for an additional cost. If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the bike a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete. If the vehicle is sold to a buyer outside of California, we will provide the salvage certificate and bill of sale. The motorcycle must be arranged to be transported by certified transport company to an address outside of California to avoid paying sales tax. If you are an out of state buyer and pick the vehicle up from our address, you will be required to pay sales tax. It is not legal to ride this motorcycle on any California roads until its registered so please done ask if you can fly in and ride it home.
