I am selling my beloved 2012 Harley Davidson 72 sportster. If you are looking at this ad, I am sure you are probably familiar with the bike, so I will stick the particulars first before listing the specs. I purchased new from Harley Davidson of Baltimore in early 2013. Bike runs great, I have never had any engine or mechanical problems, and it fires right up immediately, even in the dead of winter. Looking to get 7500 OBO.Most notably, I've changed out the grips, seat and pipes. There is a faux (vinyl) gator skin 2 up seat, custom made from Sick Saddles. The stock seat was garbage, and if you've ridden it, know how uncomfortable it is after 30 minutes. The one I have on there is comfortable well into long rides. Sick Saddles also fabbed up the matching chrome and gator skin grips, which are a little thicker than stock and WAY more comfortable to hold. I also have a mount for a camera on the handle bars if you want it. I sometimes mount a go pro on long trips, just incase someone runs me off the road or something.I installed Vance and Hines big radius downswept, baffleless pipes. This is about as loud as a 1200 sportster is going to get. This thing absolutely ROARS, and cars WILL hear you coming. My neighbors will probably be very happy when this bike is sold.Bike has been stored outdoors since I got it, under a cover when it is nasty, but I ride it year round with heated gear, so it is constantly running. It is a little dirty, with some brown spots on the chrome (bottom side of the springs, forks) and can use a good wash and detail if you want every bolt to sparkle. Otherwise, it still looks nice and pretty, and the red metalflake paint sparkles like crazy. The pictures are as it is right now, without having washed it and cleaned it up.All scheduled maintenance has been performed (mileage check ups, oil changes, etc) by Old Glory Harley Davidson in Laurel. I also put a new battery in this season.I dropped the bike once when I first got it, and when it tipped over, I bent the bars, scratched the derby cover, and dented the tank. All three were completely replaced at Old Glory HD, so it is literally as good as new in that regard. The license plate holder is missing the piece that slides out because I walked into it and kicked it with my shin accidentally. I just replaced that with a rectangular piece of wood (all it does is support that license plate in the wind, so it doesn't bend, the hinge still works fine and it swings out normally. Unless you are familiar with this piece, it is hard to explain, but I can show you. You can't even see it behind the plate). The only other time it has been in the shop was to replace a flat rear tire (replaced with the same white wall tire as stock).Currently, I am at about 13,600 miles, that number may climb a bit when its nice outside. The bike is paid off and the title is clean.
