You're looking at a 2003 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary Road King FLHRI (fuel injection) with 30,600 conservative miles. I've been riding for over 37 years and this is by far the best bike I've ridden. The attitude, comfort, sound and performance are perfect. This bike has soul. The first owner bought her from Thunder Creek HD in Chattanooga TN for $25,442.90. I bought her in 2006 for $16K. This bike has a 100th anniversary Harley custom Radical Paint Set called "Diplomat" which was $4,500 alone. It's number 78 out of 100 limited run. A miniature 100th anniversary medallion is even under the clear coat near the number on the tank. Odds are very slim that the new owner will park next to a similar bike at any ride. The HD artists who custom painted it signed the stickers in the saddle bags. Part of the paint set is the Fatboy front fender with aluminum mounts rather than the heavier Road King front fender you normally see. It really lightens up the look of the front. The engine has either a Screamin' Eagle stage 1 or stage 2 kit with the ECU remapped. It was done before the original owner picked it up in TN. I went through my file on the bike and I couldn't tell which it was as the dealer didn't put it in the paperwork. However, it's by far the torquiest HD I've ridden. The bike is filled with HD 100th anniversary trim pieces. They're laser cut and sparkle brilliantly in the sunlight. I bought it a little over high book at the time - good buy with the rarity of the 100th anniversary, engine work & extra chrome. HD isn't making any more 100th Anniversary editions! Of course, the Road King is known for its long-haul comfort and around-town agility. This is why so many law enforcement officers ride Road Kings as their duty mounts. Other than the 100th Anniversary HD Radical paint set, she has chrome front forks, axle nuts, a smoked quick-release windscreen, smoked turn signals, Frenched headlight, running lights and turn signals, easily removable sissy bar, and loads of chrome on the engine. The rear turn signals light up red when the brakes are applied for better safety. All parts except the inner primary cover, leather braided "trigger" levers (Kuryakyn), and battery (Advance Auto Parts) are original Harley parts. Why am I selling my "perfect ride?" My job is moving back into the office so I'll need to buy a commuter cage. I have two original showroom brochures from 2003 (large and small) and the 2003 parts book, in case the new owner ever wants a period correct component, he will have the correct part number. I have inside and outside bike covers and even have the 100th anniversary "gold key" which is pretty special and again, very limited. All take off parts I have go with the bike.
