The perfect blend of classic, raw bobber style and contemporary power creates a modern ride with unmistakable old-iron attitude. The 2013 Softail Slim® FLS model blends raw, minimalistic 1940s bobber styling with up-to-date old school minimalism. The Slim model offers tons of stripped down attitude, fat features, including black-rimmed wheels, round black air cleaner cover, Hollywood-style handlebars, and fat chromed front forks, as well as raw, minimalistic finishes throughout. Its chopped rear fender and narrow rear profile adds to the Softail Slim model's long, lean vintage chopper look. The Twin Cam 103™ engine gives the Slim FLS model the power punch you need to crush those hills or leave traffic passed and behind. The Softail® FLS model sports blacked-out features and raw finishes for a no-nonsense attitude that recalls classic bobbers of the 1940s; the engine, rims, air-cover, headlamp and more are all blacked-out. The H-D® Slim model rides with confidence-inspiring handling, at low and high speeds, and its light design makes putting it on or lifting it off its easy jiffy stand quick and easy. The Harley® Slim model is a great value with muscular, minimalist styling and powerful performance packed into a bike that's affordable. And if this bike isn't what you're looking for, check out other Harley-Davidson® custom motorcycles, like the Softail Blackline® FXS model, Sportster® Forty-Eight® XL1200X model, the Dyna® Fat Bob® FXDF model, or the new Sportster Seventy-Two® XL1200V model. For decades, fun could best be defined as a potent engine sitting dead center in a strong, agile frame with nothing but miles of winding asphalt ahead. As long as we keep building and refining the Sportster®, that definition will stay true. If you’ve never swung a leg over, you should. Once astride, twist the throttle and feel the V-Twin generate mounds of torque. It’s a satisfying rush that hits you right in the pit of your stomach. We rubber-mounted the engine to the frame for a more comfortable ride — no road is unfamiliar territory, no journey too far. And though riding a Sportster has always been a blast, we keep finding more ways to make things even more rider friendly. We redesigned the transmission so it shifts smoother. Take a quick trip through the gears and you’ll no doubt appreciate the near-effortless clutch. There’s also improved kickstand ergonomics — now the bike is easier to reach and lift. The pure American street machine just keeps getting better. When the 883L hit the streets, its low-slung style became an instant favorite. Credit the dropped suspension and low solo seat bringing your back pocket to just 26" above pavement. Combine that with a wide-stretched pullback handlebar and a nimble XL frame, and it’s a sweet ride, to say the least. What sweetens the feeling even more is the vibration-eating, rubber-mounted Evolution® engine. It provides plenty of low-end torque to get you where you need to go in a hurry. But that’s not the only thing behind this machine’s popularity. The price makes sure the 883L is high on affordability. The exclusive graphic treatment makes sure it’s never low on style.

Calling the Road Glide® model just another touring bike is like calling Mount Rushmore just another piece of rock. One look at the profile tells you this one’s different. Beginning up front with the frame-mounted shark-nose fairing with cockpit-style instrumentation, twin headlights and a swept-back windshield. The styling is aerodynamic—there’s nothing sleeker on the road. Moving back, there are broad-stripe graphics, a flowing seat, angled bags and slash-cut mufflers. It all gives new meaning to the word “streamlined.” You also get cruise control and 40-watts-per-channel, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD sound. But the best tunes come from the silver and chrome Twin Cam 88® powertrain. Twist the throttle and you’ll see there’s no other touring bike—and no other feeling—like this on earth.

Line up a thousand bikes curbside and chances are pretty good you’ll find the crowd at the front tire of this work of chrome and steel. The Deuce. Yes, the folks in Milwaukee did the eyes a giant favor when they dreamed up this one. Beginning with the raked-out front fork and chrome riser. Stretched fuel tank topped by a full-length chrome console. Rear fender supports, also in full chrome glory, with hidden fasteners. The rear fender gets a tough, straight-cut dragster profile. Up front is a laced wheel. In back, 17" of solid rear wheel with a wide 160mm tire. The Twin Cam 88B™ engine is available with carburetor or efficient EFI. It also gets the chromed-out look. This year, the Deuce wears a new Badlander®-inspired seat. Just to give you a little more incentive to stop looking and get in the saddle. Availability of colors may vary from dealer to dealer, and is subject to change without notice. Pearl: additional $240 Two-tone: additional $585

2005 Harley-Davidson FLHTC/FLHTCI Electra Glide Classic, Check This One Out, Loaded With Extras - The day we built this one, the world officially became a better place. The Electra Glide Classic was designed on the premise that the long haul shouldn?t have to feel like one. We started with pure Harley-Davidson styling, then added on all the necessities for putting on big miles. Like hard bags and a Tour-Pak luggage box, 40-watts-per-channel sound with standard CD, big floorboards and a comfort-stitch saddle with passenger backrest. We wanted every inch of the ride to be perfect. So we gave it an air-adjustable suspension, triple-disc brakes, and a fork-mounted batwing fairing complete with all the instruments. In fact, all that?s left is for you to fire up the powerful, reliable EFI or carbureted Twin Cam 88 engine and start taking full advantage of this ever-improving piece of real estate.
