This bike is like new. No modifications or changes – stock and exactly as originally delivered from the factory. Color is Mirage Orange Pearl. With its wide flat-track handlebars, orange paint and tank graphics, this bike was styled to look like the XR750 dirt track bikes – one of the most successful race machines in the history of the sport. This bike has a 1200cc air-cooled twin with downdraft fuel injection (50mm throttle body) and factory performance cams, 5 speed transmission, large tachometer with a digital speedometer, and Showa sport-tuned suspension with a 43mm inverted front fork. The bike has Dunlop Qualifier tires from the factory with blacked-out alloy wheels and high-performance Nissin brakes (dual disc up front, single in the rear). This bike has tons of torque across the entire rpm band and considerable engine braking, high cornering clearance and a great-handling chassis, all which makes this bike a blast to ride. This bike spent the first few months of its life on display at the Harley Davidson corporate headquarters on Juneau Ave. in Milwaukee in the reception area of the main entrance. It was then sold to a dealer. I purchased it from that dealer with only 32 miles in August 2011. The bike has been stored in a heated garage under the cover and on a Battery Tender for most of its life. I start it up periodically and will take it for short rides on a sunny day. This bike has never seen rain. Today it has only 503 miles on the odometer. I have the original owners manual, a brand new HD Shop Manual and brochures from 2010 on this bike. I will include a Premium Harley Davidson Indoor Cover (93100019) and Harley Battery Tender. The bike has the battery harness installed for the Battery Tender. You will not find a better example of this iconic bike. These bikes sold new back in 2010 for around $11,500.
