My name is Justin, after reading the below FAQ, feel free to call or text me if you have any additional questions or concerns. Why am I selling this awesome bike? The short version is that I recently purchased a different bike. The slightly more detailed version is that I decided to move to a touring bike. My wife and I have done a lot of touring on the V-Rod and despite what some people think, it's quite a good touring machine when outfitted with the right accessories. However, at a certain point, space becomes an issue -- as it did for my wife. In the end I decided to move to a CVO Road King. I really hate to get rid of my V-Rod, but keeping both just wouldn't be practical for us.What 'extras' are on the bike? Since a CVO bike is full of 'extras' right out of the gate, I'm only going to cover the accessories that didn't come on the bike from the factory. For starters, I replaced the stock seats with official Harley-Davidson Sundowner seats for both rider and passenger. The sissy-bar pad is the Harley-Davidson Touring pad. The sissy-bar itself is actually a custom piece. The tallest sissy-bar Harley-Davidson sells is what my wife likes to call 'a crack cover'. I don't know who made this sissy-bar, but it looks great, no one has ever guessed it wasn't genuine HD. It's significantly taller than anything on the market right now. I know this is going to sound crazy, but part of the reason I traded in my 2003 V-Rod to this one, was because of that sissy-bar. There is also a matching luggage rack mounted behind the sissy bar. That piece 'is' an official Harley-Davidson luggage rack. I replaced the rider's pegs with Kuryakin Switchblades and the grips have been replaced with Kuryakin ISO grips. How much tread is left on the tires? This is kind of a sore subject for me. I just finished putting brand new tires on this bike. The tires on it have less than 1,000 miles on them. When I bought them, I had no intentions of selling my V-Rod, I put arguably the best tires available on. Metzeler ME 880s. All over the internet, these tires are reviewed as being some of the best (if not the best) tires you can put on your V-Rod. So, to whomever ends up buying my bike. . .. You're welcome :)What about reliability, any leaks or mechanical problems to speak of? About 3 seasons ago I purchased this bike used. At that time, I got the Harley-Davidson extended warranty. I used the warranty to have the neck bearing replaced, an oil leak on top of the motor fixed, the clutch master cylinder replaced, and I think that's it. The motor on this bike has never failed to start on the first push of the start button, even in the dead of winter. It is extremely mechanically sound and I would trust it to ride my wife and I cross-country without a moment's hesitation.
