If you want a bike that rides and sounds better than a $20,000 machine and needs nothing, here's one for you. This was a one-owner up until a year ago. He always used Royal Purple synthetic oil since new, and the compression test I did shows it. 135psi cold, front and rear, and 175 psi front- 180 psi rear hot, virtually no wear on rings and valves. At 73,300 miles, this machine has tens of thousands of miles to go. I also pulled the cam cover to check the timing chain tensioners. They have half of the wear material left. I replaced the original air shocks with 13 1/2 coil-over shocks. It now glides like it should over bridge transitions and imperfections on the roads, and doesn't scrape the floor-boards on low speed corners anymore. The bike also sits level now. You can have the original air shocks, if you like, to go with purchase. This machine consistently gets 40 mpg. The headlight is amazing at night, low and high-beam give more and brighter light than any machine I've owned. The radio with the weather band and handle-bar controls is a great feature. This bike is not all scratched and dinged up like some you see with higher mileage. The Cobalt Blue metallic paint shines and glitters like a newer bike. The Vance & Hines mufflers have the full open baffles as new and sound just right, plenty of sound, yet not quite noisy. I must add that the engine does not knock, tick or smoke at anytime, cold or hot. It should also be noted that this bike does not leak oil, no drips, no spots, no puddles, none, period. I especially like the chrome lower legs and chrome handle-bar controls. If you have any questions whatsoever, please call or text days until 9pm CST 913 608 1744
