2006 Harley Davidson Fatboy EFI, always fires up on the first crank, very reliable engine, with security system, mainly used for the touring. I’m so impressed the seat quality and riding position, soft and stable front and rear suspension, smooth and light clutch, batwing fairing combinations due to very comfortable and unstressed long driving.63K mileage looks very high however it’s normal mileage for this model year. This bike has been constantly driven year by year so the mechanical condition is very good.First thing I have done when I purchased this bike in 2015 was to replace the shoes for the cam chain tensioners due to a concern point of Harley engine. The new Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner upgrade kit improves not only shoes life 2x but also the oil supply by 23% compare to the original oil pump, and reduces operating temperature improves bearing life.I have had no concern about this engine during my long tours. As an evidence, I’ve been to the Barber swap meet in Birmingham Alabama in the last two years and there was no sign of engine issue in 2000 miles touring. I knew that the Harley engine was very tough and reliable, last forever with regular maintenance from this touring.Currently the bike has Trunk Luggage. It is so useful while touring for putting helmet or jacket, and many other things inside. This offer includes Screamin’ Eagle mufflers and Sissy bar. Looks sporty and nice for the short touring.The bike history:· replaced new rear tire and battery this year· Clutch cable in 2016· back to normal mufflers· replaced Front fork seals in 2015· I installed LED bulbs for the head lamp and Passing lamps in 2016 for safetyWinter storage in the dealer, Oil change, regular inspection every year, parts replacement or fixing issue if necessary, no oil leak.
