1985 Harley-Davidson FXRS Low Glide - Sport Touring - 1340cc Evolution Engine - '85 models saw the introduction of HD's all-alloy Evolution engine, the Evo engine virtually solved all of the Shovelhead's woes in one hit with advanced features like: Better oiling, tighter seals and tolerances, more robust engineering - Engine has been completely rebuilt with approximately 100 miles on rebuilt engine - When engine was getting rebuilt approximately 2 years ago, had the bike completely repainted with the original HD colors - Low rise bars - Also during the engine rebuild, my mechanic talked me into changing out the handlebars with the bars currently on the bike shown in the pictures (I can't recall the name he gave me of the bars) but I do have the original low rise bars that came with the bike that are included with the sale of the bike if one would rather switch back to the original low rise bars (I personally liked the feel of the original bars, I just never got around to changing them back) - Belt final drive - Dual disc brakes - Pop-up seat for easy battery access - Low Glide, which later became the Low Rider, has the lowest seating position of any bike in the HD lineup at just under 26" from the road to your butt (great for anyone with a shorter inseem) - Has a unique factory steering head angle of 32 degrees to give it that custom raked frame look (all the way up to 2006 models were reverted back to the standard 29 degree Superglide frame)
