2006 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , 2006 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe Fat Boy Original Owner, professionally serviced and maintained. When I purchased this bike new I was planning on buying a Fat Boy, but as I developed vision for a Harley I decided the Deluxe was a better platform and heres why.. The Deluxe has a much more robust front end than the Fat Boy. The three lights on the forks along with the substantial front fender give the bike a more full bodied presence. The Deluxe is 1.5 lower than the Fat Boy which contributes to a sleeker sexier look particularly in the mid to rear portion of the bike. To reintroduce the Fat Boy look into the bike I installed polished original Harley Davidson Fat Boy wheels. The Vance and Hines pipes flow well with the bikes drawn back lines and sound very healthy. The handle bars are oversized diameter which taper down for factory sized grips and clamps. The bars are wider than factory which required extending the wires. I had this professionally done by the HD dealership. Additional chrome work includes: front forks, light bezels, wheel knock offs, oil temp gauge, shift and brake pedals, passenger pegs, misc bolts, derby cover, and polished rotors. The pipes, K&N air filter have been tuned with the EFI race tuner kit for added performance and reliability (dealer installed). A nice representation of a traditional black and chrome Harley Davidson with strong and sporty look. Additional extras include: La Pera Solo gel seat, Harley Davidson quick release windshield and quick release Leather Saddle bags with Triple Chromed Stainless Steel.
