1997 HARLEY DAVIDSON DYNA FXDS CLEAN TITLE IN HAND WITH LOW MILEAGE INCLUDES ORIGINAL FITTED SADDLEBAGS & BUGSHIELD APPROX. 8700 MILES HIGHWAY BARS & PROGRESSIVE SHOCKS I am moving to Europe and must sell my Bike. Its a '97 Dyna FXDS, which means its the Convertible model (basically a Low Rider with bags and a bugshield) Comes with the original Fitted Saddle bags and bugshield, which are in 'used' condition. If I was keeping the bike I would give it a good service, a bit of paint touch up, a few bits of rust around the headlamp (as can be seen in photos) the front break lever is a little loose, and the exhaust makes a bit of a tinny rattle where it needs slightly tightening up and overall updating (some new grips maybe), but since I am leaving, I will leave that to the new owner. It does have some extra chrome, highway bars and progressive shocks and I had an Oil leak fixed by Petes Cycles in Paducah Kentucky (ex HD mechanic), that cost me just under $400. I do not see anymore leaks and it never smokes or even has any starting problems...unlike other Harleys I have owned. This Bike has a clean title, which I have in hand. My Bike is at my house in Princeton, Kentucky which matches the address on the title. I have an excellent reputation on eBay. I must have a $200 non-refundable deposit paid into my Paypal account, if you decide to buy it. Their are no warranties with this Bike and I sell it in as-is condition. The balance must be paid for in cash, no checks will be accepted, Cash only please. I will not deliver the Bike and test rides are not allowed. This Motorcycle would be a great vehicle for a Harley collectors or enthusiasts, since they didn't sell many FXDS's due to costing extra for bags and bugshield's...when they could be bought cheaper aftermarket...and very desirable, since it has a low mileage of 8700 miles! Todays equivalent of the FXDS Convertible, would be the Dyna Switchback, and that Bike runs at $16,999 plus tax new. It has a tiny split on the seat and a few blemishes on the paint, one can be seen on the rear fender photo, just above the license plate and a stone chip on the tank (as can be seen in the photos), but on a better note, I know of no major problems with this Bike.
