This 2008 Sportster, fits that description really well, itâ?s definitely a lean, mean, adventure machine!!! Shimmering chrome separates the 1200 Custom from other Sportster models. A chrome Laced 21-crawl front and chrome Slotted Disk Cast Aluminum raise wheel, chrome motor highlights, chrome handlebar and fog light, and a cleaned fuel tank comfort give this model a custom sparkle. Forward controls and a draw back handlebar riser put the rider in a laid-back position that is ideal for cruising. It handles corners and bends well. Grip and gears are smooth and responsive. The channels in spite of the fact that not as noisy as different hogs, it has that unmistakable Harley sound without setting off auto alerts. With vibration hindered, the rider has a chance to welcome the charming attributes of the Sportster 1200 motor. Throttle reaction stays direct, with little suddenness on the off chance that you get heavy-handed. The drivetrain has no lash, and minor refinements have made moving smoother, lighter and calmer. The grip is still somewhat overwhelming to pull (the 883's grasp exertion has been helped, however), yet draws in typically and easily.

Once astride, twist the throttle and feel the V-Twin generate mounds of torque. It?s a satisfying rush that hits you right in the pit of your stomach. We rubber-mounted the engine to the frame for a more comfortable ride ? no road is unfamiliar territory, no journey too far. And though riding a Sportster has always been a blast, we keep finding more ways to make things even more rider friendly. We redesigned the transmission so it shifts smoother.
