I have all the receipts for parts, ect, I have another daily rider,, I have been riding and working bikes for 45 years, this is the 12th bike I owned and I have done everything to get it reliable, dependable, I do trust it sense I worked out all the things needing attention,,, not looking to get rich,, it is an older, old school Harley that runs and drives fine as an older hog should. I only need one bike and am only looking to get some money back cuz it was heading to scrap out for parts which is really where the money is at, but I won’t tear it apart,, that is just plain ******! This is a bargain well below Kelly or nada.. it’s an older, old school Harley and it still gets up and goes, I got on freeway 1st,2nd,3rd up to 70 mph quickly,,, slipped it into 4th with throttle barley cracked open at 3.5 rpm and then wound it up to 90 mph before I backed off.,, I put on new progressive springs and shocks,, if I kept it I would install the new Avon radials, and like I said I don't need it,, it was fun winter project and I gave it all the luv I can and now it’s time for someone else to have fun,, I am getting ready to cover it up and smart charge the new battery till springtime tho.

Old Harley sportster and don’t get any better. Starts right up and rides like an old Harley, old school, doesn’t get any better. Any old Harley used to be valued at 4k and I will accept 3.2k just so I can move on. You see it had bad motor so I repaired it back to running conditions. Complete, fully functional. Legal title in my name and now ready for resale. Has matching engine/frame numbers too. Only manufactured 5025 this year from actual Harley and not AMF. This bike should increase in value over time. Please, serious only,,, cash only…

“Rebuilt to specs. and not sure of actual mileage but speedo was at @350 and now at 550... Minor leak at filter hose fitting, too lazy to fix it with new clamp. I would advise installing new bearings on steering neck, there is clunk when parked. Tires are still ok but I advise newer modern radials would be fantastic on this type of bike. I just want to recoup some my money back, this sporty was headed out for parts cuz previous owner/bike shop could not take the time/money to get it up and running again, so I guess I saved it from destruction.. Complete, starts right up and runs sweet, get her in 4th gear and cruise with throttle barley cracked open off ide, 3k rpm=60mph and 4k rpm=80mph,, and gets 36 mpg all day long. This is an old school custom/stock Harley and they don't make these anymore, in fact, only 5025 manufactured that first year back from AMF. Clean title and fully functional. I already have another hog so I need to get rid of this sporty. Lots of potential here to do whatever you desire, build a chopper, make a dirt tracker, dissemble it and sell off parts for way more money..... Comes with repair manual, everything needed for forward controls and a few other misc extra parts.

Complete, starts right up and runs sweet, get her in 4th gear and cruise with throttle barley cracked open off ide, 3k rmp=60mph and 4k rpm=80mph,, and gets 36 mpg all day long. This is an old school custom/stock Harley and they don't make em anymore, in fact only 5025 manufactured that first year back from AMF. Clean title and fully functional. I already have another vrod so I need to get rid of this sporty. Lots of potential here to do whatever you desire, build a chopper, make a dirt tracker, dissemble it and sell off parts for way more money..... Comes with repair manual, everything needed for forward controls and a few other misc extra parts.

It had a bad crank, main bearings, scored pistons due to improper engine set up. I tore it down to reassemble, repaired as required, set cams, shimmed up the solid transmission to specification. It is now complete and fully functioning; everything works, new battery and starts right up with modern electronic ignition system. I rode it several times to cruise down the highway without a problem, 60- 80 mph with throttle barley opened at 3-4k rpm. Sweet cruising on an old school American made classic motorcycle. Now is equipped with front fork tool bag. You will not find a better bargain at this price. I am only seeking the money to get it running again. I could just as easily scrap it out for parts only and I can surely make more money if I am only concerned with that. I would like to see someone else enjoy it for many more years to come. Clean title with matching engine/frame . There was only 5025 made that first year after AMF
