I’m the second owner of this absolutely stunning 1997 FLSTS. The most unique part of this background is the custom factory paint that the owner was able to obtain. The first owner was a high ranking executive with a national cosmetics company. He knew the CEO of HD at the time he purchased the stock bike. He contacted them to do a custom paint scheme that he knew he wanted. They declined initially but decided to pull one guy off of the line to do the painting. HD must have liked the color scheme so much that they did sell some of the same color tins in 1998 as special order limited edition ones. These tins are not that, they were custom painted for the original owner. He also sent the seat and front bag out to California to have the trim matched to the paint color. There are no side bags with this bike.Once he got the bike back he spent about $7K redoing the engine and other items on the bike. Features a Mikuni carb that was dynode (paperwork included).
