The 1687 cc High Output Twin Cam motor received some tweaking and now puts out 95.6 ft.-lbs. of extremely usable torque and it now produces 76 horsepower . The roll-on power on the 103 c.i. motor now between 60 and 80 MPH is much better in a passing or merging situation but the power is noticeable everywhere . The bike now has a new hydraulic clutch for a smoother feel , especially in traffic . This should be welcomed change when creeping down Main Street during Bike Week or riding in a Christmas Toy Run . It also has a hand adjustable rear shock and they beefed up the front fork from a strong 43 mm to a massive 49 mm , this adds some stiffness up front and was designed to enhance the FL frame for an even better ride . The Street Glide S comes standard with H-D's new Reflex linked ABS brakes , this new system just helps all rider abilities navigate stopping distances and making your ride safer . The FLHXS has new lighter yet stiffer wheels to enhance the bikes handling and the " S " model gets the 19 inch front wheel over the standard 18 inch front . The Harley Batwing fairing has been around since 1969 but the Project Rushmore team redesigned it to flow better while keeping that iconic H-D look . You can now use a vent in the fairing for better wind management . The overall rider and passenger comfort was addressed and the bikes seat was upgraded , its wider , deeper and much more comfy for those long rides . The new saddlebags now have a new one-touch thumb operated latch , making opening the bags so much easier , it's about time . Everybody loves their tunes when cruising down road and with the new Boom Box 6.5 Infotainment System the sound is great . A 6.5 touch screen sound system that pumps out 25 % more volume with dual thumb controls for adjustments while you are on the go . The system also has Bluetooth and is able to intregrate satellite radio too . This FLHXS has Factory H-D warranty until April 26, 2016 .
