1995 EZ-GO Medalist HD Off-Road Conversion: I live on 168 acres and needed a HD off-road golf cart for hunting and chores. I already had a nice 1995 EZ-GO Medalist for the conversion. I used premium quality parts and cut no corners on the project. The following is a rundown of the work done. Suspension & Steering: A factory (EZ-GO) premium 4 in lift kit, factory HD front and rear springs, gas charged front shocks and HD rear shocks were installed. The premium kit has a 4 inch front drop axle, new hub/bearing assemblies and heim jointed tie rods. Wheels and Tires: GSC Dirt Devil 6 ply 22 - 11.0 x 10 tires on 10 in. offset black powder coated steel wheels. Electrical: 6 Trojan 605T 6 volt batteries (36 volts) with custom 4 gage battery and motor cables using tinned marine wire and terminals. An Alltrax 400 amp (plus) long body controller and super HD solenoid were used. A HD F-R switch & the factory motor was rebuilt. All micro-switches were replaced & all 18 gage wire upgraded to 16 gage. A pair of halogen headlights were added to the top of the front header bar out of harm's way. A newly installed rear facing flip seat that folds out into a 42 x 32 rear cargo deck. It is US Made by the Williamson Company in Anderson SC and the quality is superb. A rubber deck mat was added as well. Battery Charger: Original electronic Total Charge 3. General Condition: Used but not abused. Low hours.
