This "HARD TO FIND" Genuine Buddy Blackjack packs a great sounds and combines performance with attitude. With a new rear tire and battery, this scooter is ready to hit the road with a growl. It's top speed is just over 60 mph, and gets 80-90 mpg depending on how aggressive you ride. Owner was a large person and it cruised at 60 mph easily and got it up to 65 many times. The lively throttle and engagement of the CVT transmission make for excellent acceleration from a full stop and the 4-stroke torque also makes steep inclines manageable. Original MSRP was $3499. Scooter runs well and starts up quickly. It's had regular oil changes and maintenance upkeep. Just had the rear wheel rim ($250) replaced last month and the rear tire ($80) replaced a few months ago. Currently the rear shock needs to be rebuilt and the idle is a little rough since we got it back from the shop that changed out the rear rim. The scooter ran perfectly up until then, except for the noise from the rear rim. The body has a few minor scuffs and the seat latch doesn't hold very well (approx $40 to change). We installed a trunk box (two keys included) that fits one full size helmet plus a few odds and ends. We are selling the scooter because it no longer meets our needs and we need a car for work.
