Excelsior-Henderson today announced that on Saturday, January 30, 1999, it shipped the first revenue 1999 Super X motorcycle to one of the Dealers in the Excelsior-Henderson National Dealer network. Production and shipment of the Super X will now ramp-up slowly during the remainder of the first quarter of 1999. A portion of the initial production bikes will be designated for the Excelsior-Henderson Demo Team and marketing events, such as the World of Wheels Show in St., Paul in Feb., 12-14, 1999, and Daytona Bike Week on February 27-March 7, 1999. The Excelsior-Henderson Road Crew Demo Team will conduct demonstrations rides for visiting bikers during Daytona Bike Week. Dealer shipments will accelerate during March 1999 and the second quarter of 1999. "It was truly exciting to see the first Super X complete final quality testing, crated in the Excelsior-Henderson branded shipping crates, and placed on the truck for delivery to one of our nationally recognized Excelsior-Henderson dealers," stated the CO-Founders, Dan, Dave and Jennie Hanlon. "We now look forward to publicly showing the new 1999 Super X at the World of Wheels Show in St. Paul, and Daytona Bike Week," added the Hanlons. 1999 Excelsior-Henderson Henderson Super X Model Hcx , The bike is in very nice condition for it's age and rare, there were only about 2,000 made of this model (1999-2000) if you're not familiar with this bike, it's an American made V-twin, fuel injected, 1386cc's, the chrome is in excellent shape which is unusual for these bikes, the only flaw is a small area that's peeled on one of the side trim pieces that I took a picture of, the paint is in really nice original condition and it has a nice shine to it, there are a few minor scratches on the rear fender and a small chip on the front fender, the tank has no flaws that I'm aware of, it has a non-original ignition key as the key cylinder was changed but it still looks stock and I have the original key, it has an oil cooler with fan installed, NOS engine guard that I installed about a year ago, like new Metzeler tires and battery, it runs and rides very nice, the muffler baffles were removed so it sounds nice to me, but that's a personal preference, I believe I'm the third owner, I've owned the bike since April of 2013 and it's my second Excelsior Henderson, I'm selling it because I don't ride it enough and I need the garage space, it is a beautiful bike and I don't think you'll be disappointed. The back seat and riders handbook are included. I'm not interested in any trades and firm on the price. $6,000.00

1999 Excelsior-Henderson Hcx Super X , The bike is in very nice condition for it's age, the chrome is in excellent shape which is unusual for these bikes, the only flaw is a small area that's peeled on one of the side trim pieces that I took a picture of, the paint is in really nice original condition and it has a nice shine to it, there are a few minor scratches on the rear fender and a small chip on the front fender, it has a non-original ignition key as the key cylinder was changed but it still looks stock and I have the original key, it has an oil cooler with fan installed, NOS engine guard that I installed about a year ago, recent oil change, Metzeler tires and battery, it runs and rides very nice, the muffler baffles were removed so it sounds nice to me, but that's a personal preference, I believe I'm the third owner, as far as I know the transmission upgrade was never done to this bike, I've owned the bike since April of 2013 and it's my second Excelsior Henderson and the same colors as my first one, I'm selling it because I don't ride it enough and I need the garage space, it is a beautiful bike and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
