2010 Ducati Streetfighter S, I'm selling a very well kept, very low mileage Ducati Streetfighter S. All recommended maintenance has been done by Ducati dealers and the service records will be provided. The bike has been garage kept, and is regularly cleaned and run. It has never been dropped or sustained any other kind of damage and is, as shown in the photos, in like new condition. There have been no modifications performed other than upgrading the stock Yuasa lead-acid battery to a much lighter and stronger Shorai lithium-ion battery, it cranks faster and holds a charge longer. It has been very reliable, as one would expect with so few miles, and has always run great. The one thing I think a potential buyer of a Ducati of this vintage should know about these bikes is that, due to the ethanol used in our country's fuel, most of these motorcycles have suffered from problems with the original fuel tanks/cells where the tanks swell/expand internally and leak fuel from the overflow line or elsewhere, I've heard of other related symptoms as well. The tank on my bike was replaced under warranty by Ducati in 2012 and has been trouble free since, the same was true of my Ducati Multistrada S. I personally would be leery about purchasing one of these which hasn't had the tank job done (with documentation), if I recall correctly the total bill was upward of $4,000 had it not been covered by the manufacturer. There is a lot of info available online about this matter and there are people saying that Ducati is stepping up and covering most of the bikes that are out of warranty, but I don't know that to be true for sure, or in all cases and would suggest you research this for yourself. Also lots of reports of long wait times for those that are eventually approved for repair cost coverage by Ducati, followed by availability and international shipping wait time concerns on the tanks.
