2010 Ducati Streetfighter S, Ducati 1098 Streetfighter S. Ducati's top of the line S-Model StreetFighter is liquid-cooled V-Twin that's been recurved to match the German Zard performance exhaust, I estimate 170-180 HP. This bike is fast and extremely torquey, not for a first timer, that's for sure. It's Ducati's 1098S stripped speedway bike that's race-ready, designed to meet the needs of the serious rider with Olin suspension (approximately $4,500 upgrade from the standard street fighter model) with lighter five-spoke forged alloy wheels (+$2,500) and carbon-fiber trim. Brakes are radial-mount Brembo monoblocs with 330mm discs. Tires are a pair of track-ready Pirelli Diablo Corsa III, with a big 190/55-17 in the back. This Ducati comes with eight-position Digital Traction Control (DTS) to go with a Digital Data Analyser (DDA). When tracked, the DDA lets the rider download (with a USB adapter and software) jillions of data points about your ride, including throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, lap times. The instrumentation includes a lap timer, clock, bar-style tachometer, speedometer, temp gauge, and ambient temperature gauge, all in a very compact but readable package. This bike has never been tracked, raced or down. It has 2,800 total miles since new and the performance of the motor has never really been tapped. It's been serviced and cared for a solid authorized Ducati dealer.
