We received this bike as a trade-in. It did not run when we received it and is not currently running now. This would be a great winter project or to make into a custom bike. This bike comes with the side cases. Here is what Wikipedia has to say about the ST2: The Ducati ST2 is an Italian sport touring motorcycle that was made by Ducati between 1997 and 2003. It had a two-valve 90° V-twin engine. In 2004, it was replaced by the three-valve ST3. For touring, the ST2 had seating for two, and wind protection from its full fairing. As a sport touring motorcycle the ST2 has hard luggage, relaxed ergonomics compared with sport bikes, and powerful engine in comparison to typical touring motorcycles.FrameThe frame is a tubular trellis frame, similar to the 916 frame in torsional rigidity and lightness.EngineThe Ducati ST2 has an engine derived from the 907 Ducati Paso, which had Ducati's signature 90° V-twin (or L-twin), SOHC, 2-valve desmodromic heads, Remus exhausts, 10.2:1 compression and Webber-Marelli electronic fuel injection with one injector and one spark plug per cylinder. It has an increased bore to 944cc and a heavier flywheel appropriate to its touring function.SuspensionThe suspension in fully adjustable for the early production series, featuring upside-down Showa forks at the front and Sachs rear shock, the same as the Ducati 916 Superbike but with softer damper ratings.Brakes and tiresThe ST2 front brakes feature twin 320mm floating Brembo discs and four-piston calipers, while the rear uses Brembo single 245mm disc with a twin-piston caliper. The recommended tyres are Michelin Macadam or Metzeler's MEZ4 sport radials in 120/70 ZR17 for the front and 170/60 ZR17 for the rear, on Brembo rims.ErgonomicsThe riding position is slightly forward for sport riding and touring comfort. The large dual saddle accommodates two riders.Gauges[edit]The tachometer is positioned centrally. Under the gauges is a liquid-crystal window that displays fuel level, engine coolant temperature and time. Placing a Bid: Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this vehicle. Ducati ST-2 is nice shape. This bike runs and looks really good, and turns heads in the gas station. Lots of new parts in the last 3,000 miles. The new parts include; front and rear Continental tires, gel battery, NOS left and right side mid fairings (I replaced them as they were cracked around the fasteners), Zero Gravity smoked windscreen, panniers locks and latches (previous owner lost key), gold link final drive chain and factory size sprockets (not installed), new clutch red anodized open cover(not installed), new red anodized clutch and brake levers(not installed). The following parts and work was done over the last couple of years by previous owner; Corbin gel-seat installed, clutch was replaced and has less than 4,000 miles on it. The valves were also adjusted, and there is less than 4,000 on the valve adjustment. The previous owner also installed a Performance Chip in the computer, and a full Arrow exhaust which does sound nice. I also added the red powder coated fasteners when I replace the fairings and windscreen, they add some nice detail to the bike. I just changed the oil with 20/50 synthetic and installed a K&N oil filter, there are no oil or coolant leaks and the bike runs cool. It starts easily, idles well, and runs out fine with lots of power. The bike is currently geared down by two teeth on the gearbox sprocket, so it accelerates better than a stock geared bike would. I have included the correct new sprocket set and gold linked chain which I was going to install to return the bike to stock gearing. The bike also comes with the correct factory touch-up paint for any rock chips or nicks from normal use. I have touched up any areas which needed it, and they are not noticeable. There are the usual small scuffs and normal wear for a bike this age, and it does have some minor oxidation in a few, almost hidden areas, but it does present well. I just added better photos this morning. I forgot to say that I also installed 1.5 inch riser blocks under the handlebars for a slightly more up-right riding position. I just installed the red clutch and brake levers, and also the red open clutch cover. I added a photo of these parts installed on the bike. I ride the bike almost ever day, weather permitting, and added another 120 miles today. Lots of fun to ride!
