Up for sale is my impeccably maintained 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200S. As you can see from the photos, it's been garage kept its entire life and has never been ridden in the rain. I've installed several additional carbon fiber items that do not come with the standard 1200S which are evident in the photos. And as I'm sure you are aware, the 1200S comes standard with on-the-fly adjustable Ohlins suspension, traction control, adjustable ignition mapping, ABS, etc., etc. This bike has more technology than most cars. The bike has brand new Michelin Pilot Power 3's and also has a brand new battery and an Termignoni carbon fiber exhaust. In September of 2016 I had all of the fluids replaced and the latest firmware uploaded. You can see in the photos that all of the reservoirs show clean brake and hydraulic fluids. The oil was replaced as well. I also had the upgraded Ohlins suspension control module (Ohlins part #35000-03) installed which helps prevent the forks from diving when coming to a stop and also helps with overall plushness of the bike. Not that it needed it, but I've always liked the idea of having the latest and greatest on my bikes. The bike also has cruise control which didn't come as a standard item. It is NOT the locking throttle type, it is electronic and is triggered by holding down the start button for about 5 seconds while riding. This will set the throttle at the speed you are traveling and will hold it until the brakes are tapped. It works flawlessly and is a huge help when taking longer rides. I also installed aftermarket ASV levers and an oversized GIVI windscreen. Additionally, the Multistrada's were plagued with an issue of the fuel tanks expanding as a result of the plastic tank being exposed to gasoline. This would cause the plastic tank shrouds and top cover to start to separate from their mounting locations since they were attached to the tank. This bike was no different, but the tank was replaced as was all of the associated body work, but before everything was reinstalled, the fuel tank was sent to a company on the east coast and coated with a special chemical that helps prevent it from happening in the future. The plastic tank and body panels were all replaced under warranty, but the coating was an out of pocket expense. Regardless, it won't happen again but the benefit is that all the panel work is brand new. It also comes with Ducati hard bags that come with the Touring model. The bike has never been dropped and is in outstanding condition. And has very low miles. If you've ridden or owned a Ducati in the past, then you know that these bikes have the ability to be ridden like GP bikes. Yep, if you like dragging your elbows in corners, and enjoy power wheelies while being able to take long comfortable rides, this is the bike for you.
