2014 Ducati Superbike 899 Panigale Arctic White Silk, Equipped with: New Chain and New Tires. 2014 Ducati Superbike 899 Panigale Arctic White Silk Your road to the track The revolutionary technology found in the Monoscocca frame and Superquadro engine, 148 HP delivered with incredible lightness and unprecedented agility, the unmistakable design, Ducati Quick Shift and ABS fitted as standard. This all ensures that the 899 Panigale is just the bike to give a Ducati Superbike adrenalin rush, both on the track and on the road. Architecture The engine has been designed as the structural element of the frame. As such, its architecture has been completely reviewed to ensure the best design in terms of structure, weight distribution and robustness. The cylinders, at a 90° angle to each other, have been rolled back an additional 6° on the crankcase to produce a 21° angle between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. This has allowed the engine to go forward, accordingly improving the distribution of weights between the front and rear end and achieving the perfect position of the fastening points of the cylinder heads into the monocoque chassis of the 899 Panigale. Monocoque Technology The 899 Panigale's chassis continues the innovative Monoscocca concept: different components have been integrated to give shape to a single compact and lightweight element that also enhances the rider's posture to perfect the riding position. The monocoque structure in cast aluminium for increased strength uses the Superquadro engine as a structural element and allows Ducati Superbikes to be lightest-in-class. The monocoque frame is fixed directly to the cylinder head, and at its front are two aluminium bushings inserted with the steering tube bearings. In addition to performing the traditional function of a frame, the monocoque also acts as an airbox. Housed inside it, in addition to the air filter, are the throttle bodies and fuel circuit complete with injectors; and the bottom of the steel tank (lighter by 1.9% compared to previous generation Superbikes) becomes its cover when mounted in place. ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) 9ME The 9ME ABS standard on the 899 Panigale is a latest-generation system with two channels that performs combined braking with control of rear wheel lifting to guarantee not only shorter braking distances, but also the greatest stability during braking. Specifically intended for sport use, the 9ME ABS offers three levels of operation, each associated with a Riding Mode; in the Race mode, the system works only on front discs to allow advanced track braking techniques for expert riders.

Up for sale is a barely used ADULT owned 2015 Ducati 899 Panigale! Reason for selling is due to expenses, nothing more. Really don't want to part with it but my loss is your gain. Currently, the Panigale has approximately 1,400 miles on it. The first service has been completed at Ducati Detroit, so she is ready to roll. No other service is needed until 7,500 mi.The 899 Panigale comes equipped with an upgraded Termi exhaust system, which makes her sound phenomenal! The motorcycle also has a carbon fiber fairing section (black tail in photos), an extra set of Ducati tail fairings (painted myself with paint from duplicolor), Zero gravity SuperCorsa windscreen (tinted), upper and lower radiator guards, front and rear axle frame sliders, rear stand pegs, tech spec tank pads, Rizoma foot pegs, carbon tank cover, and RVGS pro grip 719 grips which are amazing! Will also come with rear stand, oem footpegs, oem windscreen, and oem grips.looking to sell for what I have left to owe on it. This is a great opportunity to own such a fantastic motorcycle. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you for looking!

The 1299 Panigale S stands apart with its full LED headlights and carbon fibre mudguard, excelling with auxiliary handlebar buttons and forged wheels. Undoubtedly the most thrilling superbike on the market. The apex of performance The new Superquadro engine is ingeniously incorporated into the Monoscocca chassis, providing the perfect platform from which to deliver its incredible 205 horsepower. The underside of the fuel tank, when mounted, seals the top of the frame which then becomes the airbox. Innovative engineering solutions such as these are used throughout the Panigale line, and take the dry weight of the 1299 Panigale/S down to 166.5 kg while the Panigale R sits at an incredible 162 kg. The total focus on light weight gives each Panigale a power-to-weight ratio that sets the reference in its class. Combined with advanced electronic controls and the finest brakes, suspension, and other components, this creates an incredibly potent package that takes riders to the very apex of performance. Precision riding, at the highest level, with the character and exhilaration that only a Ducati Superbike can provide. Features May Include: Extreme bore/stroke ratio The new Superquadro's bore/stroke ratio of 1.91:1 sets an extreme example of the power-maximizing "oversquare" architecture used in the world's most advanced racing engines. A short-stroke crankshaft and enormous pistons combined with large Desmodromically-actuated valves allow the Superquadro to breathe freely at high rpm, while a 1285cc combustion chamber ensures the ample torque that has made so many enthusiasts fall in love with Ducati's signature L-twin power. Precious elements The clutch cover, cylinder head covers, and oil pan are all cast in a golden-color magnesium alloy to ensure the engine's strength with the absolute lowest possible weight. Crankcase The crankcases, produced through a vacuum casting technology called Vacural®, ensure high strength at low weight along with a uniform wall thickness, and are designed to incorporate water jackets around the cylinder barrels. This design allows the head to be fastened directly onto the crankcase, combining the need for rigidity of the engine's structure with a significant advantage in terms of compactness. Due to their thin structure, the cylinder barrels efficiently transfer heat to the coolant runn

Built on an improved chassis integrating a monocoque frame, together with fully adjustable suspension. Poised between road and track, between pure performance, technology and effortless handling, the 959 Panigale sports a breathtaking design. The ideal adrenaline-booster in the form of a Ducati superbike. Architecture The engine has been designed as a structural element of the frame. Essential Desmo During the Superquadro's development the need to control large valves with the extremely precise Desmodromic system prompted engineers to replace the belt drive of previous Superbikes, mounted on the first Ducati Pantah in 1979, with a configuration mixing both chain and gears. This chain drive efficiently synchronizes the crankshaft and camshaft, and thanks to an automatic tensioner, ensures constant reliability and a reduction in routine maintenance costs. Flawless Performance The Superquadro is the most potent twin-cylinder engine on the planet, and in the 959 Panigale it produces a fantastic 157 hp@10,500 rpm, and 107.4 N-m of torque @9,000 rpm. And thanks to the sweet nature of the L-twin, and Riding Mode options, the rider is able to easily modulate this tremendous power and tailor it to his riding style and road conditions. With smooth engagement, superb feel, and light effort at the lever, the 959's clutch helps keep the bike in perfect balance on the street and the track. Full Ride by Wire The opening and closing of the throttle bodies on the Superquadro are controlled electronically in a system called Ride by Wire. The absence of a mechanical connection between the twistgrip and the throttle bodies allows the engine ECU to regulate the power delivery by acting upon the throttle's opening angle; Ride by Wire makes it possible to have different power and deliv

2016 Ducati Panigale R, 2016 DUCATI PANIGALE R Race-bred, start to finish Born to race, the new Panigale R brings a thrill to the track. 205 hp react instantly to a twist of the throttle thanks to ultralight engine components. Track-optimised geometry and racing suspension ensure responsive racetrack behaviour. Electronics are tuned to deliver maximum performance. A lithium-ion battery and a titanium Ducati Performance by Akrapovic exhaust will take you and 162 kg of racing technology straight to the chequered flag. Singular goal The Panigale R has one goal - simply to dominate the track. Every feature is oriented in that direction; no compromises are made. For dedicated enthusiasts who seek the purest experience on track, the Panigale R delivers a shot of racing adrenaline directly to the heart. Features May Include: Precious elements The clutch cover, cylinder head covers, and oil pan are all cast in a golden-color magnesium alloy to ensure the engine's strength with the absolute lowest possible weight. Crankcase The crankcases, produced through a vacuum casting technology called Vacural®, ensure high strength at low weight along with a uniform wall thickness, and are designed to incorporate water jackets around the cylinder barrels. The engine uses wet barrels coated in Nicasil, which are inserted into the holes of the engine block's housing during the initial stages of assembly. This design allows the head to be fastened directly onto the crankcase, combining the need for rigidity of the engine's structure with a significant advantage in terms of compactness. Due to their thin structure, the cylinder barrels efficiently transfer heat to the coolant running along their walls. In addition to these barrels, the Superquadro's crankcase stands out for the use of plain main bearings, previously utilised on the Ducati Desmosedici RR engine. These bearings allow the use of large-diameter crankshaft journals, which maximise rigidity and mechanical strength to optimise the internal rotating structure to the extreme power of the Superquadro. Fully Ride-by-Wire The opening and closing of throttle butterflies on the Superquadro is controlled by a fully electronic Ride-by-Wire system. The absence of a mechanical connection between the twistgrip and the throttle bodies allows the engine ECU to regulate power delivery by directly adjusting the throttle; Ride-by-Wire makes it possible to have different power and delivery based on the selected Riding Mode, to alter the level of engine back-torque (EBC), and to control any slipping of the rear wheel (DTC). Lubrication The journals of the main bearings are lubricated by pressurised oil admitted through ducts inside the engine block. This serves to assure the efficient lubrication of the new crankshaft, followed by a rapid recovery of the oil thanks to a lobe pump that places the connecting rod compartment under vacuum, similar to the engines used
