Up for sale is my heavily modified 2004 Ducati Multistrada 1000ds. I'm the third owner of this bike (2 years), the second owner was a well known Brooklyn based Ducati mechanic (7 years). This is hands down the best bike I've ever owned, and it has completely ruined sport bike's for me. With a light flywheel and the torquey 1000ds engine, it can do about 90% of what any sport bike can do, and the whole time your body feels like it's riding a Swedish cloud mattress. This bike has been ridden. With just under 24,000 miles on the clock (25k mile service completed earlier this year) it's clean and well maintained. That being said it does have a few cosmetic blemishes, and a few quirks. This bike comes with: Lightened Flywheel Full Arrow exhaust system Dyno Tuned with reflashed ECU by Eraldo Ferracci himself. Marchesini rims (Lighter 5 spoke front wheel) Custom Fork rebuild (for 160lb rider) 1098 Radial Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders ASV Unbreakable Levers (shorty) After market Clutch Slave Cylinder Corbin seat Speedymoto Frame and Fork Sliders Brand new Gold ChainNew Fuel Pump A plate puller 25k mile service completed (Perfect valve guides btw) The original Black Ducati Performance Panniers and Top case All black powder coated, anodized, and hi temp painted everything, everywhere. And I'm sure I'm forgetting more... Since taking a new job at the beginning of 2015, my riding time has all but disappeared. This bike has been my daily ride in town, and while it's actually a great city bike, this is not its intended purpose. This thing should be breathing fire on twisty roads, or riding cross country. Instead I'm commuting 3 miles in city traffic every day, and have barely even taken it out of the city. I would like to see this bike in the hands of someone who has time to ride and is willing to continue putting this beast through its paces. Take this opportunity to get a no brainer mile muncher before the season swings into full gear. If you have any questions or want to see more pictures, please don't hesitate to message me.

She's only got 14,225 miles right now. New belts, plugs, air filter, battery, valves checked (no changes needed...have notes), new DID VMX chain and sprockets (+1 rear), recent tires, clutch and brake fluids just changed, hand and foot lever pivots and steering head bearings cleaned and greased. Brake pads are fine, everything is in very good shape. It has the LV cat-delete header pipes but stock mufflers. Stock ECU. What she needs: To be taken to a dealer or an independent to have the TPS set, CO set, throttle bodies balanced and idle set. It idles a little low and is a little lopey - that's why it needs to see a Ducati shop, but other than some low rpm vibration that I feel is related, it runs fantastic. She has new fork seals but the wrong fork oil in her Ohlins forks. Makes them feel harsh. The correct Ohlins fork oil will take care of that. She needs the stock rear Ohlins shock rebuilt w/ new seals. Currently she's wearing a 996 Ohlins shock that is 10mm longer, but a much softer spring. If you are light like me it works fine. Otherwise you'll want to get that stocker freshened up and back on the bike. There is a small dent in the front wheel you can see, but I'm not sure if you can feel it through the bars or not. Sometimes I think I can, other times I think it's just the throttle body imbalance vibration I'm feeling. But there it is. She's wearing a funky windshield set-up that eliminates the upper front fairing and windshield that turns with the bars. Makes it look almost like a normal bike! Apparently the screen itself if the Multi Touring screen...I don't know. It works a lot better than it looks though. Previous owner told me the tank is a warranty replacement and Caswell coated. It's definitely coated and there isn't a mark on it, but I have no paperwork on the tank replacment. Despite the "things it could use", it's totally enjoyable just as it sits. I've done a couple long days in the saddle riding around the Adirondacks with it and it's a mighty fine place to spend the day. I'm not exhausted by the time I get home. That's the whole story. I like it and may well have another some day but right now I could just use the cash more than another bike sleeping in my garage for the next 6 months. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff..ask questions! Clear title in hand. Bike comes with red key, code card, all owners manuals, toolkit, etc. Contact Me Before Doing Anything On Ebay Please! I would greatly prefer a cash in hand, face to pace transaction.
