Excellent condition, extremely low miles, entirely stock (the front fairing is added, but comes off easily if you don't like it). Always garaged - no signs of it ever being kept outside. I bought it five years ago from a lady in South Carolina. I put on new Pilot Road 2CT tires, had the brake fluid changed, had the timing belt changed, new clutch master cylinder (with Ducati original part), and put in a new battery. I have been changing the oil only with synthetic and recently changed it. I think I have some extra maintenance parts such as air, fuel, and oil filter.I also have a set of European exhausts. They sound great, but the OEM are quite light and neighbor-friendly. I can part with them for a low price.One of the only two model years that it had a metal tank, less electronics, no catalytic converter, yet had fuel injection. I was planning to keep it as a collector's bike for a longer time, but I need the space in my garage and don't ride it enough. Very few Monsters 900ie out there that could be in such a condition--it took me a long time to find it a few years ago.It is great for short riders and has incredible torque. One of the lightest bikes in this class. I think dry weight is about 380lbs, and it is air cooled.$4,900, firm.Priced to sell. At the time of this posting, for example, there is one 2000 Monster 900 on eBay for $4,500 with 29,000 miles and modified. This bike should keep its value if you take care of it.I have the manuals and all keys.
